Now that post saysBetter eat my tea quickly then.
The capability is there, as evidenced by the third party tools that can change wheel sizes and tyre sizes, hopefully PD can deliver the content soon. The Standards would look kinda cute with such modified wheel / tyre combos. One of my favorites in the game, And tyres are way too skinny.
Wow! even the buildings have interior! i have never noticed that! No racing games i have played had buildings with interior! (except Test Drive Unlimited, some buildings like dealerships and houses does have visible interior when outside.)
Fixed.''YOU'RE WINNER''
That is really good looking for a standard! That is by far the best standard I have seen. 👍May you please reserve a brief moment of your time to look at this beauty:
It is a shame that it's yet to be Premium.
Heh, I thought it was "you're"...Fixed.

I still think the Audi Autounion Streamline is the worst.
It was, although it was fixed later on.Heh, I thought it was "you're"...
Well don't get me wrong, I like the cars appearance a lot, as a matter of fact it is one of my favorites. However the quality of the car model itself is why I think it is the worst standard in GT6. It looks (not saying it is) like it was ported directly from GT4 without any kind of enhancements at all.The Auto Union TypeC was notorious for its handling in its time. Trust me, that alone more than makes up for its appearance.
Ah, but it was ported directly at first, only the "material" used to render the bodywork in GT4 was not originally reproduced in GT6. In fact, the visual appearance of the car in GT6 at launch was probably correctly a "bug", before it was modified into its current state via a patch, but it's still not the same (as good) as it was in GT4.It was, although it was fixed later on.

This is what you call a "semi premium" car. It has a premium exterior, but a standard interior. If this car is made premium for a future GT game, the exterior will probably not be touched, but it will get an interior. The quality of this car's exterior is just as good as any other premium car in GT6.May you please reserve a brief moment of your time to look at this beauty:

Wow, not surprised about the first part, but I didn't know it had been modified via patch. Guess that's what I get for not playing GT6 for a while.Ah, but it was ported directly at first, only the "material" used to render the bodywork in GT4 was not originally reproduced in GT6. I was about to say, I think it looks worse than it did in GT4. I don't remember it's being so dull in GT4 ether, but maybe it is the lighting playing tricks with me.but it's still not the same (as good) as it was in GT4.
Indeed. They look REALLY bad in the game even for a standard. The rest of the texture work is indeed lo-fi, and the "cockpit" was only ever meant to be seen from the outside.

I don't go around buying standards and expecting them to be in really good quality, but I really feel like they could have done better with that Streamline. May try to get some pictures of it soon.
Do you mean the wheel covers? They're a bit angular in real life, but we shouldn't expect high quality textures from GT4.Even in GT4 though the wheel arches were shocking. The dealer actually says it has a "detailed" interior. I suppose technically it's a premium. (If you assume "Standard" and "Premium" in GT5 were renamed "Interior: Simplified" and "Interior: Detailed")
As you have very good knowledge in that modeling stuff, what do you think will they do with the standard cars regarding interiors?Do you mean the wheel covers? They're a bit angular in real life, but we shouldn't expect high quality textures from GT4.
If you mean the "bumps" the wheels reside in, then polygon count comes to the fore.
I think we can infer that Interior: Detailed / Simplified is really a different kind of designation from Standard / Premium. It's the future, I'd wager, in so much as all cars will eventually have detailed exteriors.
I am afraid we will have standards in GT7. I just wish they are all RUF quality likeStandard cars are my nightmare, I hope that we will never see again in GT7
It seems likely that the bulk of the Standard "conversions" will not get a modeled interior. Whether they create those with the ability to see itself from within itself depends on how that actually works in their graphics engine. Clearly, there was a difficulty with getting GTPSP-style interior views working on the Standards in GT5 / GT6, for whatever reason. As you have very good knowledge in that modeling stuff, what do you think will they do with the standard cars regarding interiors?
I personally think the standards (wich will all be upgraded to semi premium level) will have an interior like the vgts have, black inside but with the outside visible.

Most of the Premiumificated Standards appear to be works in progress.
It does? OK. All I know is that the Premiumification of that car either wasn't started or wasn't ready to be included when GT6 released. That means that we're not seeing a premium Supra in GT for a looong time.

Of course, GT7 is a long way off yet.

Since many of the "upgraded" Standards don't have that self-visibility property from the interior, it's possible that they won't ever. If it's a case of requiring a separate LoD setting (e.g. "interior"), then they can add that procedurally, parsing through all the meshes one by one (once they're finished).
