After taking another look, maybe you are right.
Would have made my day if I'm wrong.

Why?Would have made my day if I'm wrong.
Who wouldn't like to add a rollcage to their raceday car? Why?
I would want a rollcage for an NSX like that.Who wouldn't like to add a rollcage to their raceday car?
Oh, I forgot about that; I chose something flippant / random anyway. Good luck recommending the Kenyan version of the Roadster, PD! (Sorry Kenya). (It's also an example of an opaque option - just include the option in an explicit way).
Well, how would you know what I want, anyway? Not only can I think of a few reasons, but I actually do prefer the Eunos because of them. So what does that say about your ability to predict methods to make "everybody happy"?
What would be so bad about the trim differences being treated like a different colour?
The only thing different about the FRS, BRZ, and GT86 are the paint color options. I bought the BRZ because of the WR Blue Mica paint chip.
The thing is, I didn't say that it should be prioritized. And even in my original post I said that they already did it with the Miatas and the Aston.
I am not an expert in 3D modelling, but how much time could it take to take the premium BMW M5 model and make different side mirrors (because that seems to be the only exterior difference between the '08 and the standard one)? Or the '69 Camaro SS, another ugly standard model that could be a premium by changing some badging or trim on the premium Z/28? PD's modellers have always been among the best, I doubt making changes that small would take a modeller more than a day or two, if not only a few hours.
BTW, In my opinion, the whole semi-premium thing is unfortunately a waste of time. Most of them only have slightly cleaned up textures or a bit of added geometry but it's still nowhere close to premium quality. Even the best ones, that seem to actually have been remodelled like the Yellowbird need work. A huge majority of the so called semi premiums only have slightly cleaned up textures or a bit of geometry added. These improvements might barely work for GT6 but not for the next generation.
It's really quite a mess PD have made with all of the quality differences.
I'm totally fine with treating the differences as colors, I was trying to made it simplier.
Dunno, it's just something I've always done in games. Makes me feel cosmopolitan, I guess.P.S. Can I ask you why do you choose a random nationality? I'm just curious .
...
When I was making my new account I almost decided to make myself from Japan, but I just stuck with my home country, the USA.Yes, it would be simpler just to get rid of the Standards, and any Premium duplicates, but PD are committed to keeping them - so I personally hope they go with the manufacturer -> model -> year -> trim -> colour approach, as appropriate and applicable, for the duplicates.
That also means I dont lose some of my favourite Standards, either.
Which is why I like the Premiumification; slowly but surely, they'll become Standards: the more gooder, the less bad, and the less ugly.

It's not like it really makes a difference in GT6. The game knows where you're connecting from when online, anyway.
The Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R and the Ruf 3400S have considerably high detail exteriors for Standard cars. They look amazing. You can even fit a plain Carbon Fibre hood on the FTO.
We don't think of the simplest things sometimes and look into it too much.
Definately, the steering wheel looks too good.Needs work and few more pixels.
Playing GT3, are the cars much better detailed than in GT4? They look pretty good to me. The Denso Supra or Escudo for example (bar the texturing on the rear of the Escudo).
If craigslist existed in GT6...
Needs work and few more pixels.
@SuzukaStar we can't see those images
Ouch..... really sorry to hear thatI owned this car in real life, until it was stolen and found completely stripped
