I may be the only one to see this, but when I see the headlights of the new Honda Accord, I swear that they look exactly like the front a lancer evo 6 from japan. Freaks me out, but I always get too excited when I see that new Accord. :D

That's because Ruf are Porsche modifiers. They're in the same boat as Brabus, who rebuild Mercedes, and are registered as a manufacturer. However, they don't design their own cars from scratch, they're modifying the product of their donor.

Just saw the new Ford Fiesta today. From the front it looks likea smaller, less tall Renault Megane Scenic. From the back it looks like a new-shape Vauxhall Corsa. Not good.

If we are going into parts used on multiple cars then there is a whole load that could be mentioned:

1. BMW V12 in Rolls Royce Silver Seraph
2. Ford Switchgear in various Aston Martins
3. Aston V12 is basically two Ford Duratech V6s welded together (not quite that simple though!)
4. Aston Martin V8 Vantage used Citroen CX door mirrors
5. Various Marcos' and Nobles use Ford Mondeo rear lights
6. Noble M10 and M12 use Mondeo V6s
7. Pagani Zonda uses Mercedes and AMG V12s
8. Vector M12 has a Lambo V12 and the gearbox that was used on a GT40
9. Bentley Arnages did have BMW V8s
10. The new Range Rover has a BMW V8.

Some quality useless information for you all :D

1. Morgan Aero 8 powered by 4.4L BMW V8.
2. Pagani Zonda powered by Mercedes-Benz
3. SsangYong/Daewoo Musso powered by 3.2L M-B Diesel.
4. Mark One Land Rover Discovery had Morris Marina door handles.
5. Caterham 21: Mondeo rear lights
6. Marcos LM600: Mondeo rear lights (although different ones to above)
7. 2.5L 6cyl TDI in Volvo cars is made by VW Group.
8. Lamborghini Diablo post 1997: headlamps from a Nissan 300ZX
9. TVR Chimera/Cerbera pre 2000: rear lights from Ford Fiesta.
10. Noble M12 powered by twin-turbo Mondeo V6.
11. Metrocab (UK taxi) has front & rear lights off a Mark III Escort estate, instrument panel and interior fittings from an Austin (Rover) Montego.

That do you for now? :)

To get to the point:

-The front end of the Toyota Sequoia, Subaru Legacy Outback & Suzuki Esteem has a similar front-ends.
-The Kia Spectra hatch has the same front end as the Mazda Protege series.
-The rear-end of the Alfa Romeo SV, Honda Civic [EJ], Alfa Romeo 164, Subaru SVX, 1996 Nissan Sentra, and the Subaru Legacy sedan.
-The rear-end of 1999 Subaru Impreza and 1999 Dodge Stratus.
-The side mirrors of 2001 Opel Vectra and Chevy Camaro.
-Older TVRs mistakenly identified as Porsches!
-The front bumper of 1992 Daihatsu Charade, 1992 Toyota Corolla and 1996 Subaru Impreza.
-Mitsubishi, and Nissan Europe's front grille is trying to copy Renault's trademark grille.
-Daewoo Korando's & Hummer's 7-bar grille was originally came from the Jeep's grille.
-Rover trying to be E-Class-look-alike.
-Subaru WRX, MG F, and the new Mini shares with the common headlight design.
-Nissan Primera got its "edge-athon" from the Altima.
-Jags new X-type front-end is becoming more like of a BMW 3-series (primary competitor)
-Agressive Audi TT resembles with the cute VW Beetle.
-Hyundai XG front-end wants to be the 1st gen Q45; and the back of a 1999 Chrysler LHS
-Hyundai's Sonata has been two cars in one: front-end looks like a certain Mercedes-Benz and a rear of a Jag S-Type.
-Honda HR-V Chevy Savana big van minivans rear-end resembles with the new Chevy Lumina minivan.
-Proton Wira's rear-end resembles with the 1991 Mitsu Galant hatch and four dors from 1993 Mitsu Lancer/Mirage.
-Curves galore on 1998 Hyundai Elantra, 1997 Ford Taurus, 1995 Nissan Altima, and the Escort/Tracer [US] twins on 1997.
-And BTW have you noticed the new Susuki Aerio's headlights? Think Ford Focus.;)

"Yeech"

Actually, the Celicas headlights are way to long to resemble the "triangle-effect", the Focus and the Aerio has a closer resemblance. Back to the Celica, compare it with the Nissan 350Z, Infiniti G35, and Renault 206.
While the new (EJ) Civic has a little bit in common with the new Opel/Vauxhall Astra.

I think that Bentaly and Rolls cars look similar. Also Jag and Aston Martin look close in there sports car models

because the mercury tracer is badged from the mazda 323. the relationship to mercury is just as close as the one to ford, since ford owns both mazda and mercury.

RUF buys unfinished porsches from porsche (minus plastic, with steelie wheels, engines, etc...) and makes basically their own car. they do not copy them, they simply buy the bodies and stuff from them.

The Concorde copied the Camaro, but now that you mention it, check out the tail-lights on the Grand Prix and Alero, they also resemble the Concorde's.

And what about the new Altima's brakelights and the new Range Rover's headlights?!

the concordes taillights look nothing like the camaros tail lights.

and the alero/gp tail lights look even less like the concordes.
