Steam sale thread: Summer 2017 Edition

It's a caching issue on their end. Don't visit the store page or any other steam site until it's confirmed to be no longer an issue.
If it's just a caching issue, there's also not much of a risk to anyone modifying your account or buying stuff, as that would still require proper authentication. That said, if you have Steam authorized to use your CC or PayPal, revoke it just to be on the safe side, until it's back up and fixed again. 👍

And do it via Paypal's site, just to be safe.

  7. To The Moon
  8. Euro Truck Simulator 2
  9. Amnesia: The Dark Descent
  10. Fallout
  11. Fallout 2
  12. Front Office Football 7 (gonna put in a refund request on this, learning curve's too much right now)
  13. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
  14. Wolfenstein 3D
  15. SLAMMED!
As of now, I've got about two and a half bucks left.

Man!!!! I got $40 in cards as a gift last night. I've got the following:
Elite: Dangerous
SW: KoTOR 1&2
SW: Jedi Academy for myself and a friend
Ori and the Blind Forest for my daughter
And a friend just gifted me Who's Your Daddy.
To hell with the spring semester!

Atm I recharged 25€ while already having 16.05€.

Shopping list:
- The Crew Wild Run (not in sale as it is Ubisoft game);
- Oddworld pack (Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus);
- Jurassic Park: The Game;
- The Witcher Enhanced Edition Director's Cut.

Planning to load 20€ more to buy:
- Mirror's Edge;
- Remember Me;
- The Witcher II Enhanced Edition;
- Skyrim Legendary Edition.

I have no idea qualified forl

Edit: Hah, oops! I was typing this, put my phone in my pocket and forgot about it, must've accidentally hit post after some pocket typing. I'll let it stand but I'll try again:

I have no idea what to buy! I got given a bunch of money and I know there are games I want, but I can't decide what to choose. I kind of want Subnautica (because a game about diving sounds cool but World of Diving seems like it'd be boring, though £10 is a bit much for something I'm not sure about), Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (but I only have one person to play it with and she'd get bored after five minutes, so £11 is a bit steep), the Metro Redux bundle (but I gave up on 2033 pretty quickly so I'm not convinced I won't do it again), Neon Struct (but I heard it's short and really easy) and AeroFly RC 7, but it's expensive, I don't have an appropriate controller and trying to do 3D stuff like that with a 2D display is... Weird.

So I might just not buy anything... But a sale like this won't happen again for at least three months, maybe six. That's a really bad reason to buy things, though. I think I could do with more storage, too - but again, I'm not convinced I want/need it enough to justify the expense.

Is this what being an adult is like?!

If you're an adult and that was the least disconcerting debate you've had with yourself, you are a lucky person.
Also, might I suggest spending just a few bucks and pick up some Star Wars games, or perhaps a half life bundle? Older, but certainly are fun.

Dammit, Steam Sale... spent waaaay too much. Over $400.

Bought a lot of dirt-cheap mediocreware. But I did snag a few quality titles as well... Aviary Attorney, Battleblock Theater, The Beginner's Guide, Betrayer, Brothers, Crypt of the Necromancer, Democracy 3, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Fable Anniversary, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, Gone Home, HL2 Episodes 1 & 2, Her Story, Hitman Absolution, Kerbal Space Program, L.A. Noire, Left 4 Dead 2, Morphopolis, The Music Machine, Papers Please, Pillars of Eternity, Remember Me, Serious Sam 3, Soul Gambler, South Park: The Stick of Truth, The Stanley Parable, Star Wars KOTOR I & II, Tomb Raider, Undertale, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, to name... a few?

To buy Fallout 4, or to not buy Fallout 4.

On the one hand, I do want to play it, even if it has yet to receive it's modding tools.
On the other, I'm also busy playing The Witcher 3 and Driveclub on PS4, while also wanting to play some more Until Dawn, Bloodborne, MGS Phantom Pain and The Last of Us on my PS4. On top of that, I'm busy with Dying Light on PC, which is surprisingly good. So many games. So little time. Should I add Fallout 4 to the mix?

Fallout 4 is the type of game that will consume your life for weeks, if not months. So pretty much whatever games you're currently delving into will probably be put on ice indefinitely if you decide to take the Fallout 4 plunge.

Personally, I'm going to wait until it's cheaper. In a year or few, it'll probably be on sale for only a couple bucks. But then again, I still have the massive timesinks Fallout 3 & NV (and Skyrim) to play through, so I can easily afford to wait.

I have yet to buy anything. The only thing I have considered is CS:GO. Everything else on my wishlist is not discounted at a high enough percentage.

I picked up Stonehearth and Rebel Galaxy. Stonehearth is a good time waster that isn't all the difficult and you just command little block dudes to build up a village. Rebel Galaxy is more or less Firefly: The Game, so it's more or less a space western where you fly around doing mission and what not. For those who've played Freelancer, it's along those lines.

Only got a handful of games this sale. One of them is Remember Me, which I finally got around buying. Finished it in less than 10 hours. Tells an intriguing story but the combat's boring as hell.

Yeah, don't get Fallout 4 just yet. While it's a bland experience overall, it'll still take some time to play through. Tackle those games you listed first, then Fallout.

Also, the mods won't be as big until the GECK releases.

I got empyrion galactic survival. Was on £8.15 and for its offering it seems a bargain. It does have 1 problem, its still in pre alpha but on the 25th december they just added a full solar system to the game. They claim they want to add a full procedurally generated universe for the full release (no idea how long it will take)

Just bought Far Cry 4 for £11.99 (60% off). Won't have time to play it for the next few months but that's a decent bargain if, like me, you haven't played it yet.

And here I am, still spending... even after my aforementioned spree.

Damn Valve for game-ifying Steam... I'm only a few dozen games away from the 500 games badge. And I've got mountains of dem winter sale trading cards just waiting to be crafted into badges, too.

So... are you gonna play any of them?
