On "normal" i think it could make people prefer RH tires instead of RM because they could last a full fuel tank - or make them go oposite way and use RM for more short agresive stints on half fuel loads...

On "fast" its just put RM and use them for entire fuel tank... People would still use RH only because rules force them to.

But i agree, Lozza, testing might prove this to be actually diferent

Yes. And about the fuel/tire wear topic. I say we stay on the fast setting, otherwise we could run half the race duration on one set.

Several drivers have asked for a Ban on RS tyres in pm to me over the last few weeks.

I am quite happy to do this but need a vote from you guys -

If we have more votes YES than NO by 16.00 UK tomorrow night then we go for the change
Any non votes will be excluded from the final result.

If YES wins a new rule RACE MEDIUMS OR LESS will come into effect for Mondays race onward

NO and thats a big NO , tired off things beeing changed , its so far away from what i signed up for at the start , where we had test races too , so i dont understand why it all shall change suddenly , but it seerms too be a yes again with the vote and then i got an request that says that it will not change in the race this monday , it should be even for all , and class A have had RS , so its only fair class B gets a race with RS too.........

edit ..... as i recal it was desided too use RS because we would use a stock car ........

Ok Guys we have enough votes to make the changes.

I can promise this will make it much better and more exciting for everyone as it will keep the championship closer
without the huge bhp penalties and also allow different drivers the chance of winning races.

You will need to aquire the base models

Class 1 Car PEUGEOT 908 HDi FAP Base Model 10
and
Class 2 Car Nissan GT-R Gt500 08 Base

AND GET THEM BOTH PAINTED AND NUMBERED AS YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY

You can add the chassis reinforcement if you wish.
The only other changes are brake balance allowed.
Make sure you have all tyres RS RM RH IM HW

For the Daytona Race on Monday your cars and settings will be as follows alternating each week.

Any Tyes can be used but Tyre type Change will be on as usual.

Qualy and pace lap will take place in the usual manner.

Drivers Bhp settings are their max setting, but they can run with less bhp if you choose to.

It will be up to group 1 cars to pass them in a safe manner - and that should be quite easy.


I would really like for everyone to try out the cars - i will be on tonight and would like to hopefully do
a full test race if we have enough interest on Friday night.

AS FOR CHANGING THE TYRE ALLOCATIONS RE TONYS SUGGESTIONS WE CAN LOOK AT THAT AFTER THE NEXT 4 RACES once we see how things run.

its no secret and you all should know about now what my opinion is about changing the tyres .....
iam sorry logic , but i dont say this without reason and know you are susgesting this because off several ppl apparantly have asked for tyre change , but when i read the last 2 lines in your own post , i just get a bit frustrated seeing a vote allready .......
