Ben, group 4? Pfft.

He's in the top 50 on the Death Valley seasonal. (Good going btw).
Well, we just had some preactice tonight with Ben, and we had a few group 4 guys, and Ben was with us, so i think its fair he runs in 4 with us.

I do think the Silverstone laptimes are going to be closer than what we have had so far.

Group 5 ran about half a second slower than group 4 so it will be interesting to see where we all are on Monday.

We must enforce the LIFT OFF GAS if all 4 wheels are out of bounds at this track.
It is so unfair to keep flat, when you are outside track limits.

I wil have another session tomorrow around 11AM Uk time for a few hours.

That's cool with me. 👍

Until he mullers them...

Erazer and Aug will probably be MUCH quicker than that!

Yes. Silverstone is a great track... for noobs who shortcut everything they deem tarmac...

I am making a suggestion for the race tonight, hopefully it helps everyone from dc.
it does seem often that the room is fine for a while before dcs start to happen.

I suggest, i will open a room as normal at around 16.30 UK time for practice until 18.40

At 18.40 i think we should all leave the game and turn off our playstation.
restart our routers
restart the game
clear the cashe
then go into the room, but only go into the pitbox.

This should bring the time to around 19.00 UK

with a bit of luck we can all then start the race a little after this with hopefully no issues.

Of course it may not work, but with everyone on a new clean connection it may help.

We can try that , but it's not us that's the problem .. I reckon it will be fine (ish) till 7 , then as soon as everyone around the uk starts going online, the servers will die . Yesterday was discraceful , unable to stay in a lobby for more than a couple of laps , then after 9 pm , we were able to run 2 x 20 min races with 9 in the lobby with not one problem ..
There's a scheduled network maintainace for the 1st / 2ndMarch , hopefully that will solve the problems, but until then were probably going to have a nightmare of a time trying to get a race going .....

I still think we should all quit restart routers - clear cash then join the room and dont leave it again.

It often seems stable but it only takes a couple of people with unstable connections in the room, and Star and Jon are the first to be evicted.

As it seems to me, the room can be fine for ages, then as soon as someone comes in with a dodgy cashe, this corrupts the lobby, and starts to dc people, and once that starts, it never ends, the room is corrupt, and it may corrupt all the good connections.

I know its clutching at straws, but ,,,,,,,,,,,,

Quite disappointed about my performance, I don't expect to be on the podium for everything but I should have done better than that. I had one unforced self-inflicted error towards the start of the race and then got caught up behind johnhepburn twice, the first time taking a heavy amount of front end damage as I couldn't avoid him rejoining the track. Made a couple of off-line errors after that before putting in solid laps to try and make up some ground.
My first pitstop, I refueled too much so I thought to only take on 10 litres at my next stop. Perfect. One more lap and I'd have run out.

Racing etiquette = 4.5/5
The race itself = 2/5 (fairly boring to be honest)
My performance = 0.5/5

Overall rating = 3.5/5
