Strange noise heard around the world

But he wouldn't hear it if he was as far away from the base as he says he is.
He's more than likely within' a flight path to said base. if he constantly hears it.

I know on more than one occasion, I have heard & seen military aircraft flying to & from the Joint Reserve Base in Ft. Worth & Dallas Lovefield flying out around Dallas doing runs.

Well, you're more aware of the planes than I am. I'm just saying I've heard similar "drones" before only to look out & see planes of that size & nature(?) flying around.

You're in the prime of most prime areas, too. C-130's are even stationed at the NAS JRB. Not to mention Ft. Worth Alliance is probably one of the busiest transient fields for military aircraft in the country. Yet another reason I want to move to the DFW area, it's plane spotters paradise. /jealous.

While out today, I stopped in at a Speeedway store to get a coffee. There was a man and a woman standing out at the end of the parking lot trying to flag down those who were coming and going. They were telling people to "get right with God now", "Satan is waking up his army for the Battle of Armageddon".

*** rolled up window and drove away ***

Must have been in Springfield.

Wow I just read an absolutely ridiculous theory called "Project Blue Beam" where NASA basically projects computer generated "gods" from space which forms into an Antichrist and will have people believe that there will be alien invasions in every major city and make supernatural stuff come into a special chip which will at the time be in all technology which will lead people to be desperate and join a New World Order religion. Apparently, their anthem would be Ode to Joy.

Yeah I've heard of that before. But I think just recently they changed the name to Project Loony Ape ****, or was it Loony Bat ****? I don't know, I forgot.

I asked Youtube Crusader Captain Disillusion if it was real...he said "No.". So, I firmly stand by this great, great man. 👍 (and most of the forum for that matter )

Post 1,600. Not a big landmark but hey, I'll take it. :D

I believe that name is more suitable.

Viral marketing campaign.

I believe for Cloverfield 2.

Yea, my thoughts. :)👍

The Moscow one is clearly a FAKE! I've spotted at 1.20min a tripod (War of the Worlds) appears above the trees. At the exactly same time the strange sound appears. Coincidence?

I can tell you the New Orleans one might not be fake but it's definitely not anything unusual. New Orleans always has a lot of construction going on and is one of the biggest ports in the world, to me it just sounds like machinery from one of those two things.

This scientific device has already been posted several pages ago, but I just wanted to post it once more just because I think it's such a fascinating thing!

As an engineering-to-become student I find this machine so wonderful to look at, not to mention to start thinking about the way it's built and the people that came up with this in the first place!

It's a totally off-topic post, but those dozens of videos using the same sound file make even less sense than an off-topic post

I heard a strange noise during a lecture on wednesday. It was so loud the prof couldn't speak over it... turns out some staff were doing some drilling and hammering work on the floor above, phew! what a relief that was.

This slightly freaked me out last night because before I actually watched any of the videos but had already read the thread I heard a low pitch wierd buzzing noise outside in the sky for about 2 hours around midnight.

Luckily the sounds in the videos arn't anything like what I heard... phew!

All this reminds me of the Duga array near Chernobyl... really spooky stuff.

Oh, you mean the over the horizon radar that created the infamous 'woodpecker' noise over radio for years? Not exactly creepy, just Soviet distant early warning stuff that created an annoyance for everyone else.

It was creepy for all those years when no one knew for sure what it was! It was only after the fall of the Soviet Union that they found out. It still has an air of creepiness about it especially where it is and the way it looks.

There have been all sort of theories about its other potential uses, I know its all tosh but its fun to think about it

The Russian Woodpecker wasn't that bad. Even if nobody knew exactly what it was supposed to be doing, we could all take a reasonable guess.

If you want creepy, try UVB-76, also known as The Buzzer. It usually emits a continuous buzzing sound, hence the name. But, very, very occasionally - only seven times in twenty years - a voice message is sent out. This is one that was recorded on Christmas Eve, 1997:
"Ya UVB-76, Ya UVB-76. 180 08 BROMAL 74 27 99 14. Boris, Roman, Olga, Mikhail, Anna, Larisa. 7-4-2-7-9-9-1-4."
And in August 2010:
"UVB-76, UVB-76. 93 882 NAIMINA 74 14 35 74"
Nobody knows what it means.

What's the point of that? and that last video scared the crap out of me! That was sketchy!

It is suspected that UVB-76 formed a part of Soviet nuclear strategy known as "Hand from Coffin" (but usually translated as "Dead Hand"). In the event of an American military strike that took out the Soviet government in Moscow, Dead Hand would be activated immediately - a retalitory strike that would target everything. Every last missile in the Soviet stockpile would be fired. UVB-76 was believed to be a critical part of that: it broadcast a message to every Soviet military base. In the event that Moscow was taken out, transmissions from UVB-76 would cease, which in turn would be the signal to fire. The system was designed to ensure that, if ever the Soveit high command was taken out, the rest of the world would go with it.

But the Cold War has been over for thirty years, and UVB-76 is still online ...

My theory is that Old people decided it would be fun for a global old people watch horror film extremely loudly. But unfortunately they all had heart attacks, and when the film finished, the menu music carried on. Then when the noise stops it is someone finding them dead, so they turn off the film, go the river with a bag, etc. :P

Face it, it's the same noise in every vid or one of those NASA weather things.

So, since we're now on the topic of odd unexplainable things. What about the supposed Aurora Airplane? Apparently with it's pulse jet engines it makes a very distinct sound could this be the sound we've been hearing around the world? I remember a video about this plane and seeing a satellite image of a supposed donut shaped chemtrails that this plane would put out going from Nevada across the states and into China and Russia at a speed of about Mach 11.

EDIT: Tree'd on the last page haha. I want this plane to exist damnit.

What your asking me is if I trust NASA to tell us that they have no idea what will happen when the Sun reach the middle of the galaxy?

That will never happen, as the Team Fortress 2 Heavy would say "Is not possible"
