the problem is that gt4's rally isn't anywhere near as good as any "proper" rally game; it's barely competent.

yeah, someday, we will be doing something on ice... but until then, i would love to have my red gt one at seattle, or a R390, or a jaguar xj 220 lm, or something in that class... just to get ready to week 27 and the F1 👍

I'm game for GT modes or Rallyes. It doesn't matter which one. I'm just glad to be out of the racecars. I can't afford them. I guess I need to progress more on the game itself.

I vote a multi-lap.

Aston Martin DB9? try taking that thing for a spin, sports tires? Guys from top gear love the thing!! 👍

A combo that (probably) everyone would hate :nervous: :ouch: :

Any road car
Tsukuba Wet
Economy tires (N1)

Actually did few laps on it with the BMW M5 earlier today and quite tricky it was. Lots of understeer

rally only if its tarmac rally... GT is just for rally... the sport is great, but very bad on gt4...

seattle and route 5, where are you?

 Toyota GT-One red

If we go to Seattle it needs to be in a car that can handle the bumps nicely, and preferably a car that can slide through the twisty section before the back straight with a nice flow.

So that pretty much means no LMPs, Group Cs etc.

In GT3 I used to love driving the Ruf BTR (the rear wheel drive one?) at Seattle; 500+ hp and comfortable rhythm through the twisty bits. I don't know whether there's a similar car in GT4 (bound to be :) )

YESSSSSSSSS! Like the Lancia Stratos on sports tires...

Couldn't agree more ... I had the time of my life taking the Z28 Camaro - with it's heavy ass - around Seattle Reverse in my American Muscle Comp. So much damn fun :P

the Z06 is actually a ton of fun on seattle.

cerbera on s3 would be a good choice for those wanting a sliding good car...

also, i have to start my campaign to redo autumn ring, but i know is still a lot of time before we redo this one, but already my vote here

R92CP at autumn ring.....muahhahahah, i know everybody hated, another suggestion, another fast race car... but for the record, i did sugest a cerbera to put on seattle...

PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE!

CFM, buddy!, make the poly race round Deep forest (forward)

Scary fast and with the available downforce and speed, very technical.

oh god yeah... i love the downforce tricks on deep forest.
i remember in reverse with downforce trickery, used to be able to do a 0'57 in the GT-One.

Enough of these bad handling, oversteering, stock cars.

I say it's time to go back to race cars - any race car :D 👍

The Wizard.

I know a very good car on Seatlle...it's Aumuse S2000 Steet version '04,completely stock. It handles so good through the whole track! :)

Hehe, I thought I was the only one who did this. Except mine is focused just on me.
Week, Div, Mode, Track, Vehicle(s), Tuning, Laps, My time, Various points and position information.

That's how mine is set up.

i did it at work a few months ago. thought it would be nice to be able to see in a quick glance what has been done before thinking about new combos

Not that I wish to be a proponent of adding work load, but that spreadsheet would be even more useful if it listed the top times for each division and perhaps an average of the three, or an overall average. That would give someone a viable target to chase and shoot for, rather than some impossible time set by the gods themselves (damn you hohos and Veil :P)

I could try to do that. It may take a bit to figure out the easiest way to average the time. Also, I'm not going to be home for at least a week so I don't have my spreadsheet in front of me. :dunce:

Sounds good Blue. Even if you only took the fastest lap + slowest in each division and divided by 2, you don't need every single time for pin point accuracy or anything. Having the fastest and slowest would also be good stats.
