when the 3-way Japanese classic wrs week has passed, after that maybe it is time to dust off a fast oversteery american hotrod and take it to some wide racetrack. s3 tyres, standard engine. example: normal viper or, even better, the series one shelby @ laguna seca or midfield.

An awesome car indeed, but we've used it once or twice in the past already... Not sure if that cancels it out or not. I really really liked that car in GT Mode around Paris Normal... Fully modded on sports tires...
I also really like the C1 Corvette, fully modded in GT mode.
I also like Race cars with sticky tires. Don't have any at the top of my mind, but it appears that's what's needed for next week. I'd be ok with a reappearance at Le Sarthe, in maybe something GT class instead of LMP classs? Hell, even LMP class, (with at least RM tires), but we did the Bentley way back when. But that was way back when, soo.....?

That wouldn't go down very well. I for a start couldn't win all golds in super license & wouldn't be able to unless my skills suddenly improved ALLOT. Plus that'd take ages & be a bit boring. BUT! We do need something on the nurburgring BUT! It's very hard to keep all 4 wheels on the ground
If we did do a Nurburgring race I'd want to do it in a BMW M3 or a Mercedes SL500.

Well, a mission has been suggested, so M14 may be good, but unfortunately the tires aren't great. I would love to see M14 as a WRS race though!

Not in a certain part of Melbourne it wouldn't. But then us Brits and Aussies aren't going to be friends for the next week anyway.
Actually the Ford model-T round the ring is a lot more fun than it sounds...I did a few laps for Kents nurburgring thread and enjoyed every minute of it.
I'm off to watch the cricket build up...Sky sports have been advertising it as the match between us 'pros' and them 'cons'. Ha Ha.

2. Arcade, Laguna Seca, Chevrolet Corvette C2 Race Car '63. (Racing medium, no aids, no mods)

I think either Laguna Seca, New York, or even Opera Paris in the R.E. Amemiya RX-7 (Aspara Drink JGTC). A race car, although not an extremely fast one (324hp), on tracks that play well to fast cars, but ones that aren't, too fast. I think it could be very successful after the two slowish week's we've had of late.
