Don't bother with Youtube if its too much of a bother. (though the unedited races after our times have been posted would generally be watched by me at least).

@ lineup, I didn't think of that. (though I can't remember seeing anyone else's cars in any of my races, I'll have to check my replays)

It is that friendly thursday warning time again.

Car-less, Dogbreath, GrumpEone, Jet Badger, Skython11 have yet to submit their times. :nervous:

I haven't upgraded my car for two weeks now, but this time I put more effort to the tracks than the last week. Hope that will pay off :)

shortamagee, I also noticed the missing tyre indicator on the Suzuka. I firstly thought that I accidently went to track meet event:odd:

My times will be in later today, my upgrades are... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Nothing

Time is in, almost had epilectic rage at Laguna Seca, the car just felt so gutless. Wouldn't be surprised if I'm at the back this week. And did anyone else have problems with the AI ramming you in the second turn when rejoining the pack.

I take it the CR-X is up for sale at 2,029cr? I don't think you'll get any takers for that!

Also, I see that you debited me for an oil change that hasn't happened yet. I wanted to see how competitive I'd be bone stock. This week I'll change the oil and turn off the driving aids, and probably some more...

Sorry, I figured you had done that. No one has run their car with the oil light on yet. So yeah, change your oil, you already paid for it.

Serious!!! Holy 🤬 moly, I did really well this week, only missing the podium once. And I didn't even have any upgrades, that flywheel from the other week must be doing wonders

A little dissapointed with this weeks results I took the Silvia that nobody wanted, changed the oil and ran a single attempt at each course. The results were truly dire.

The Silvia would have placed 6th at Infineon, Motegi and Laguna Seca, 5th at Suzuka and 7th at Midfield for a total of 5 points - and thats with me driving it. Had it replaced GrumpEones Mirage it would have only scored a total of 2 points!

Looks like we were both right to let it go.

3rd Circuit

The 3rd Circuit continues with a wide assortment of tracks this week. The tracks should test every car and driver to the utmost as they hurtle towards the finish line.

So gentlemen to your cars. Start your engines! Let us begin!

I expected this. But hey, I saved a lot of money :) I was thinking, maybe I should sell my car too and jump into something mid-engined?

Wow, I knew the turbo upgrade helped but I'm still a little surprised at how well the Mx-5 went last week. I still say it was worth 3 seconds a lap so without it I wouldn't have got a single podium.

I'm tempted to see what else is out there, but I think I'll just continue to pimp out the Mx-5 at the moment.

EDIT: With the tracks coming up, and the maximum tunable HP of the MX-5 (around 230hp) it seems a car change may be upcoming, though it wont be until next week. I know I said I wouldn't change car, but the points x300 is giving me more cash than I had anticipated.

Jet Badger, you just won the competition, you're going to win everything in that, because it's quick

I am being forced to look for a new ride now, I don't want to end up epic failing now. I'm not up for buying anyone else's car though

So I'm selling my Civic, and getting something better, how much does that give me to spend on a new ride?

Well, BH-21 just bought a 285hp muscle car and everyone is upgrading their rides now. The RX-7 isn't slow either, GrumpEone is the first in the buyers list and he isn't very lucky with his Mirage so that might be a chance for him to get on his feet. For your money you can buy for example a 276hp twin turbo Supra, 4wd Celica, Lancers, Imprezas, 3000GTs...

I don't think I wil be way ahead with my marshmallow suspension.

13,301 CR see the finacial report as well. I'm going to get the other posts and reports finished up.

I have already done a few runs in this car, and I really like it's abilities. I can drift tough 90° & 180° turns, fix my line if I come-in too fast with a quick E-brake tap or counter-steer, and gain speed through turns. Versus the Mirage I can cut 5 seconds or more off every single track. This is going to be a much better week, although I'm facing two cars I can't possibly beat in the Camaro Z28 and MR-2 GT-S.
