http://blog.caranddriver.com/forza-...gn-sweet-retro-inspired-xbox-one-controllers/ I feel like this has relevance here....of course not as relevant as if they were PlayStation controllers though...

I like those!

I wish Polyphony Digital would let us paint and number the Ford Mark 4 so we could copy the paint schemes of different drivers and also do this for the Ferrari 330 P4 - hopefully they will make these type of small easily made changes for GT7 which make such a difference to the quality of gameplay.

If GT7 won't come with a full livery editor then - 'I Set To Corsa'! ;)

I'm easily satisfied - I would be happy with the ability to paint and fit changeable numbers to all cars.

A racing stripes editor would be a nice addition. The ability to select different paint for bonnet, boot and roof would also be nice. A full livery editor would be beyond brilliant! Especially if it enabled us to create iconic liveries like these:

Hi fellow classic sundays enthusiasts. It looks like I may have an opening and maybe could join you today. Is there room for an old (back of the) reserve driver like me? And what car(s) should I bring?
I hope @Sick Cylinder will soon see this and answer so you get some time to practice/set up. I have no idea if there's room for reserves, and can only guess that since you are Gold it might be Ford GT40 for 1966 Sports Cars and and maybe C2 Corvette for the 1967 3-10-cup, but take it with a grain of salt.

Cars will be as mentioned by Flaco. At the moment I am not expecting any spaces, but will send a message when the meeting starts to all reserve drivers who are online if there are any spaces resulting from absences of regular drivers then you will be able to race.

I would be nice to see you on track again, but this series is proving very popular so I cannot guarantee a space.

Thx @Flaco13 , I'm not even sure I have a C2 somewhere, imma buy it anyways.
Duly noted @Sick Cylinder

I've been looking back to page 1 quickly to check the regs. As you're on GTP now, it will be easier to ask you.
What cars & spec should I prepare for today?
I submitted a photo of a GT40 & a 330 P4 for your visual approval earlier in the thread, I think.

I'm never gonna practice again, a whole day thrown away driving around that track, been all alone the whole time until racing and then the kids start running around, even though I have my own room, I have to fix the lock to the door. Very very very unhappy right now!:banghead:
From now on I'm playing gta on the Ps4 all week until raceday, ok almost did that this week to, but managed to squeeze a bit of track time in as well.

Now it's starting to wear of a bit, see you all next week. ;)

For anybody who is wondering why I suddenly pit-in, On the first lap, I was behind @Flaco13 (A good distance) and on the final corner I saw him suddenly understeer into the dirt and drop back a handful of positions. Why is this relevant to me might you ask? I had some REAL BAD lag spikes at the beginning of the last race and felt like I had a lag spike and hit Flaco, now that might not be what happened, but I believed and felt that that was what happened. Nevertheless, I felt guilty and started to become flustered from it that it had an effect on my driving (@Sick Cylinder You might have noticed it as I was swerving everywhere and couldn't control my oversteer as you were behind me)

I ended up pitting-in lap 6 and staying in there the remainder of the race as I felt guilty for ruining @Flaco13's Race as he was in the pit remainder of the race himself after he had fell into the grass and lost 7-9 positions.

If I ruined your race @Flaco13 I'm sorry man, I gotta be sure to hook up my internet a little better next time.

Thanks for the spot today. It was tricky but enjoyable. I hope I didn't spoil the finish, I was quickly approaching a car to lap it at the same time as the leaders quickly appeared from behind to lap us both. There were suddenly 5 cars with worn tyres, all in a small space, going round the same corner. I know something hit the back of me so apologies if I was in the way.

Oh no, man, heck no. You shouldn't have quit. There wasn't any contact at all I just came off on the grass and spun. Purely my own fault.

I decided to pit because after the spin I had another spin and bumped @John Wells (apologies, John) breaking too late into turn 1, then drove wrong-way into the pits, also apologies for doing that.

Just couldn't get my mind right in for that race, idk.

Race1 and 2 went pretty good, I think I've gotten the best out of that Ferrari and myself, 5th place each race. The GTO is a nice drive but a challenge. The lack of speed is noticable even on a bumpy, rather short track like Deep Forest, had to stay right on grip limits all the time.

Your practice payed off well at first though, you were really fast around the track!

I also got a bit distracted, I had two dogs who wanted to help me steer the car

Great racing today everyone! I'm glad that we could do a little longer 3rd race, endurance racing is something else than sprint racing! The GTO was pretty good today as well, seems like I finally figured out how to make it go where I want it to 👍

Enjoyed the races, but had some stupid accidents to entertain the crowd. Sorry for my stupid rage-quit in the last race, on the positive side i got accustomed to the XJ13, reset the diff so the car is almost stock now, only adjusted transmission and added a bit (+50) of downforce at the front -- nice handling! 👍 Great races and battles, looking forward to the next event. :D

No worries Flaco:tup:👍👍

On the last race, power lead, came out, so apologias, to anyone that hit me, when I wasn't in control:(

After I have served my penalty at Deep Forest, I will attend the Round at Zahara. If there's a practice lobby, please let me know, so I can join in. 👍

Race 3 photos:)
