Interestingly enough, the #100 Raybrig HSV-010 is running a new exhaust configuration, this time behind the front fender.

So does the #17 Keihin HSV-010 also running with a new side exhaust position but this time it's a little bit shorter, almost towards the front fender.

The #18 Weider Dome Modulo is still running the original single rear exhaust.

Here's a nice shot of backfire from the #1 Reito Mola GT-R.

Super GT will use the qualifying format similar to Formula 1, except there's only 2 qualifying session, Q1 is 30 minutes, 15 minutes for each class and Q2 is 16 minutes, 8 minutes 24 minutes, 12 minutes for each class. 15 cars of the GT300 will advance to the next qualifying session and 8 cars of the GT500 class will also advance to the next session. Q2 will start after a 10 minutes interval after Q1, GT300 will start qualifying first, the GT500 will start 12 minutes after that. Here the link from Autosport Japan, http://as-web.jp/news/info.php?c_id=2&no=47184

Found a Video from the Okayama test:

Still not liking the new exhausts on the HSVs. Its irritating because now all the GT500 cars sound the same and I hate that. If the HSVs at least had the same sound as the P1 Honda HPDs here in the States, I'd be fine as it would at least sound different.

Any word if Honda Racing were testing which exhaust(sound) they'll go with? Or are the other HSVs pretty much set?

Looks like they are pretty much still testing exhausts. I'm guessing the Weider car is basically the baseline car that they are trying to get the other exhausts close to.

The weider car is using last year's exhaust. The gains from the front exhausts are being tested against that on the other HSV's.

Qualifying for RD.1 has just finished. GT500 pole goes to the #23 NISMO GT300 pole goes to #61 BRZ!

Great to see the GT300 machinery on top of the GT3 cars, come on Honda!! Let's get to the front!!

6th...that's alright, I guess. The GSR BMW is always strong. :dopey:

EDIT: woo! Pretty happy with the result!

Lexus 1-2-3-4 in the Fuji race, Petronas Tom's car won with the Prius beating the CR-Z in GT300.

This is how all Monday mornings should start!

Uuggghhh. 9th is just not good enough for the Goodsmile BMW. Hopefully, this isn't a sign that their inconsistency is back from 2012. :irked:

lmao, the URL made a smiley xD

But wow, awesome news, he's a lucky one!

Would be awesome to see him race in Super GT, oh man. He must've had a lot of time to talk to Krumm during Le Mans.

Thats just the prototype anyway. The finished car will look nicer. DTM isnt that bad in terms of looks, besides that rear wing imo.

I've never liked the swan neck rear wing on any car, just looks off to me.

Seems like DRS will remain as well. Not sure if I like that yet, it adds something to the racecraft, especially if there is no fixed zone, but passes due to DRS feel kind of cheap. The DTM style certainly is better than the F1 counterpart thought.

I too dislike the look of racing wings that are noticeably thinner than the body width, it just looks off...

Okay, hmmm.. the car looks okay. Alright, Sugo is this weekend for the Super GT series. This track has produced some great races and finishes, especially in 2010.
