First time I've seen an entire SuperGT race. That was amazing.
Cracking racing, isn't it?

Indeed. I was surprised they were able to race that closely in the rain without it ending badly. Aside from it ending under safety car due to the heavy rain, this might be the best wet weather race I've watched.

GT3 racing may be dominating the world, but I've said from the start this is the most underrated GT series in the world. It's in no way a glorified DTM, even with the new regs.

GT500 is still a world reknown class, plus GT300 is becoming more like GT3 anyway...so you get the best of both classes. The GT500 cars look killer, and are as fast as ****. :D

JAF GT300 needs a boost; I wouldn't really like it to become all GT3. In terms of it being well renowned? To those who know of it, certainly. Other than that, it gets very little to no exposure outside Japan.

Also, GT500's are knocking on LMP1-H laptimes - getting properly quick now.

Really? Certainly not on high speed tracks, do they?

Around Fuji, they're 5mph faster than an R18 E-Tron in a straight line, and about 2 seconds a lap off.

That sounds unbelievable! Prototypes are supposed to be much quicker than GT's!

Well, something is clearly not right. There was a time when GT's were faster than Prototypes though - back in the 90's.

Dang it, I wish I could watch it. The races that I do catch, is always awesome to watch.

Petronas on pole with the whole bunch of GT-Rs and NSXs chasing for the 1000km of Suzuka! Hope i get up in time cause starting time is 5 o'clock cet time here.. And hope it's going to be a cracker!

Hearing the Radio LeMans guys mauling some of the names is alternatingly amusing and painful.

Lap 7, GT500's caught up with GT300.

Lap 10, No.17 Keihin NSX battled No.36 Petronas TOM'S RC F through 130R and Casio for the GT500 lead. 17 now leading.

Lap 12, No.19 RC F pitting for tyres.

Is RLM at Suzuka?

From the Nismo Channel.

We have a live picture being sent to us from Japan - Radio Le Mans are sending us sound to the UK and a chap in Barcelona is linking the two together and uploading it! And we're in London commenting!
