Didn't see it happen. Hard to keep up with the race with a lack of race audio.

Also hard to keep up when every corner is Spoon.. except for Spoon.

No! Denso. Hard luck. :banghead:
Brutal luck, they were looking good for a podium too. Both drivers looked devastated.

Edit: Problem for #55 CRZ, drops them out of the fight for the win. Too bad, it was shaping up to be a great finish.

2am, time for bed. Great race, congrats to Lexus and BMW. Was nice to have English commentary for a change.

So with the weight handicaps halved now, it'll be all to play for. Then they'll be gone for the final race and then...who knows.

What I do know is that somehow, Miku's Z4 leads again. Gainer cocked right up.
And that the Z4 is the car to have in GT300. Mind you, TWS being the one to win is rather out there.

It's incredible how fast these cars have yet again become (after their speed kinda declined from 2007 to 2013), somewhere between P1 and P2. I guess this is in part due to a lower weight minimum and more HP, but one has to also wonder what the effect of the huge tyre competition has?

As they were saying on the stream, Dunlop and Michelin joined because they are begging for a performance war. That's why all the Nissan's were getting puncture's - longevity comes at a price of loss of pace.

Nice recovery from the Prius. Despite what the commentators were saying, the car isnt factory backed. Its a relatively small team, not as much compared to the MUGEN CR-Z and R&D Sport BRZ. Good race. Kazuki Nakajima is proving his worth. And Rossiter should be good to watch in a couple weeks driving the Lotus lmp1.

Yep, meant to post that ages ago, the mother chassis should be interesting.

Cars Tokai are interested in one.

And...

Honda have been spotted doing some testing.

That looks like an uncannily HSV-esque CRZ.

I wanted the GoodSmile BMW to win, but a 4th place finish is fine by me given where they were starting from. :)

Anyways, here are some videos... :D

2014 Suzuka 1000 RACE

Given the fact the next race will be at the Buriram United International Circuit, you think there'll be a chance to have the #23 NISMO Motul Autech GT-R will have the Yokohama F-Marinos J.League team that's one of their sponsors be featured more prominently? After all, the circuit that'll be holding the race is named after a local professional soccer team. ;)
