So super-scary DTM cars? Not sure how that one's gonna play out. :scared:

Funny you should say that...one of the requirements on the agenda was "spectacular"...so DTM looks and no grip? Course imagine a BMW M4 GT500 car with 107 more hp. O_O I wonder if there will he an American SuperGT/DTM car.

They have a stupendous amount of downforce at the minute. I hope it doesn't mean that Super GT will start getting all FIA-y with the rules. :indiff:

I wouldn't worry about the rules...I think this will be like GT3 in terms of "here's a global racer specification, have fun" (except this time the cars all share a common carbon tub I believe). So maybe we should think like this is the new GT1. :D Besides Dekra runs DTM so...not so FIA-ish. I would be more worried about IMSA.

I'm more worried about the positioning. We have one marketed as a touring car series, the other as a GT series... and they'll be the same.

The idea is that these are both going to be silhouette racers, but I think what might happen is DTM might start calling itself more GT like. But they're calling it "Class-One", so it's like it's a "hybrid" classification.

Race on tomorrow for the first race on that new track which seems to cause some major surprises..

Weddssport rcf second of the Lexuses? :boggled: Those yokohamas must be grippy!
Bridgestones seem not to suit this track.. Hopefully Calsonic, Keeper and othérs can catch up to the Motul during the race..

Brz had 2nd time after the wildcard-porsche but has been disqualified if i'm not mistaken cause they sure ended 2nd but now are last in the list.. Exception the porsche all seem to be close in GT300..

Ordonez won something!! Miku and NOB's Z4 finished 3rd and has a solid 9 point lead for the final round over the Gainer SLS and Studie Z4.

The Petronas Tom's RC-F won in GT500 - somehow - and tops the rankings. Keeper Tom's RC-F is three points behind. Motul Autech GT-R six points behind. The Calsonic GT-R and Weider NSX still have a shot too...

Motegi is the last race. No weight handicaps. The fastest wins.

Come on, NOB!

Pretty sure the NSX is staying mid-ship, mostly because it hasn't even been sold yet and is still testing (assuming they've resumed after the fiery technical issues).

We will see. The HSC was shown. Then the HSV. and that was built- for racing only. The NSX Concept was in roadster form in the Avengers. I do hope it becomes a production car. Can't wait to see the Spoon version :)

Final round of the 2014 season is promising to be a cracker!

GTRs looks impressive but Petronas is there and Weider is also competitive! Keeper will have to do some recovering.
In gt300 i hope the Prius can get a victory but it will be hard with a herd of sls' around it!

Full replays of the quali can already be found on youtube. And if i'm not mistaken the race is broadcasted by nismotv in collaboration with radio LeMans as it was on Suzuka!

Tom's losing it all in gt500 and hatsunemiku z4 also grabbing next to the title?!

Some action of de Oliveira at the start though..:grumpy:

Crap driving from him, as usual. Took to 4 wheels off the track and T-boned Rossiter round.

It sure ruined Rossiter's chances of becoming champ and much less tension in gt500 than expected..

Great race still!

YES!!! GT300 Drivers Championship for the GSR team!!! Great job by Kataoka and Taniguchi!!!

Don't see why it's a spoiler, if you don't want to know the results then you shouldn't go in an active thread.

Bit annoyed by the championship being done on the first lap really; genuinely appalling move on Rossiter.

Well I do it just to be generous :dopey: Unfortunately I tuned in late so I couldn't see the Rossitier and de Oliveira incident.

It was just completely unnecessary.

They were both Championship contenders right up to the point of the collision so pretty bone headed really.

Looked over it again from the stream, can agree that it's iRacing rookie quality driving there. Sucks as it could have been a much tighter championship

Ahh...NOB's done it. Just.

Still, you wonder what Gainer has to do to get a championship. They've had no luck, ever.

And 3 in 4 for Ronnie Quintarelli. Not quite as dominant as his MOLA victories mind. Or assisted.

Who would have thought the Margin of Victory for the championship would be less than a second on the track between GSR and the 4th place finisher in the Audi R8 LMS? Those back-to-back wins at the start of the season ultimately made the difference.

With apologies to Bob Dylan and Manfred Mann, maybe we should dub him The Mighty Quint. ;)

Hello, gents. Would anyone happen to know what was the fastest Qualifying time in Super GT at Suzuka is? I'm having a hard time finding it myself and surprisingly the official site hasn't been of much help as I thought.
