Why not Nissan? if GSR-Miku were to go to GT500, I'd rather see a Miku-themed GTR than some Lexus. THOUGH, Hatsune Miku the character does have a relationship with Toyota so there is that. But regardless, I'd rather see a Hatsune Miku GTR than a Lexus coupe
They could do a Megurine Luka version of what Miku looks like for a Lexus GT500 car. ;)

Teaser of the gt300 Evora and information on its debut at TAS http://app.m-cocolog.jp/t/typecast/205105/177725/81514665 and heres the image

While both the Bimmer and the Merc are GT3 cars, they have GT300 spec engines inside of them. How these engines go from GT3 spec to GT300 spec is something I would like to know - but I digress. :)
The engine is actually the same, it would be terribly inefficient and costly for both team and manufacturer if the engines were different. The only thing that changes between official GT3 spec and GT300 spec is the size of the restrictor that feeds the engine air and the amount of ballast placed in the car. The restrictor is basically a screw on part shaped like a trumpet with variable diameter for balancing. The smaller the diameter, the less air can flow through it, resulting in lower engine outputs.

GT300 runs on the same bop as Blancpain for the GT3's. They only tweak them after the first race iirc. Then of course success ballast.

The GT300 GT3 laptimes now are insane. :scared:

Damn, that thing looks huge.

Maybe its the bodykit, but boy does the front fascia look like a crazed happy fish.

Maybe it's the way the bodykit is built, but that front doesn't seem to be equally balanced (i.e. one side looks more "caved in" than the other). Is that it?

Also, that goddamm rear just gave me a scare, it looks like a praying mantis's mouth.

One mirror is on the A-pillar, the other is on the front arch.

And I once again missed the important details by looking at the bigger picture... :ouch:

But yeah, that's a wonky front mirror placement. Why did they do it like that?

I'd presume that the car is right-hand drive, and a mirror on the front left arch might be easier to see (and read) than if it was on the left A-pillar.

Makes sense, it was done for safety reasons. And because of the right-hand driving position.

Might be so the driver can see the mirror. Some racing bucket seats have a huge head stabilizer that would make it difficult looking out the far left side.

Here is an example, but I've seen seats with much bigger restraints on the head (DTM for example).

JLOC announce they'll be taking delivery of a Huracan mid-way through the season.

Not long then before we see one of those burning down to the ground/crashing heavily/suffering catastrophic failures (delete as appropriate).

Tempting to be smited by fate, are they?

See car name.

Damn! That Evora GT300 looks like it's hot outta high school!

The BRZ looks undeniably cool too. Time to see if those GT3 cars are still so smug... :D

What is Miku riding on that livery?
Hope it comes up with as much goods as the Z4 did.

A cibernetic unicorn (did I really just say this out loud), perhaps? That's what it looks like to me.

Anyways, it's a good livery, I do wonder how will GSR handle their new steed (horse pun goes here)...
