Oops. I forgot to welcome AngelCreator. Thanks for coming to yet another series Angel! You've been a great sport! By the way... Group C was never officially cancelled... it just stopped... I haven't heard from Nitro. I guess that means I'm leading the points by default! HAHAHA! It's late, I'm tired and I'm only half writing this. I'm watching NFL pre-season (Colts @ Rams) WOOT! OK, i've got one for you: I was just buying stuff for the M3 i chose to get it within the regulations and i found that even with the stage 3 weight reduction it came out at 1303kg (3kg above the class requirements). Now i'm personally not bothered for the sake of 3kg but i thought i'd check that this is ok.

And also am i not allowed the port polish (i get 268hp with this which is still within the regulations for class 3) because in the car homolagation thread it says just the stage 3 weight reduction for the M3. Thanks
 
Sorry if i wasn't very clear. Basically after buying all the performance parts allowed (stage 3 w.r. and port & polish) my M3 stands at 1303kg and 368hp. I wanted to check that this spec is ok to race with because in the rules it says ST3 cars must be between 1200-1300kg?

Touche. We've obviously changed the schedule at last minute and weren't aware of that problem. GN+ and I will discuss that in what have become daily meetings. Thanks for pointing that out. I think we'd have got to Round 1 and it would have hit us then... thanks again.

Welcome aboard Crazy300ZX guy. Randy, thanks for joining. It depends, I'd recommend that you use one of the (J) designation cars as this is a Japanese series and the RHD would make it more authentic. As for which model? Well, the Type E produces significantly more tourque whereas the Type A produces more horsepower and weighs slightly less. Of cousre, as you will be building a car to our series spec, the difference in weight doesn't really matter. I would go with the Type E because that's the car I used when testing the new regulations. However it is entirely up to you.

I don't want to push anyone into making a decision but, ST2 only has one competitor. Evo vs. Subi = Guaranteed fun. Believe me, I did extra testing for that class just to drive those eally inspired racing machines. I guess I'm just more surprised it hasn't attracted all the attention I thought it would.

NOTE: I am currently at Watkins Glen and therefore do not have a PS2, and obviously no GT4 with me. I won't be able to fix the specific problems you are experiencing 'till I get back home Monday afternoon/evening. Untill then I will still be able to get online and should be able to help you with any other problems.

I have something to ask, in the allowed car mod it does not say anything
about stiffness and for cars with alot of miles that is an option.
I just wanted to know if we can put that on are cars.
