is anybody else subscribed to this thread and not receiving emails? I used to get an email whenever a new post popped up but haven't been getting them since last night.

No. Didn't get it.

Edit. I did get it. Thanks.

Ah, I figured it out. I switched to the new gmail and it started sending my notifications from gtplanet to the spam folder.

With regards to typing "CAUTION" racers can't type without slowing right down and their track position controlled by AI which may well end up resulting in a pile-up. So I would suggest...

As soon as I hear someone say caution I will speed onto the track, caution should be called by everyone who see's it in case those involved do not have a mic, if the lead pack are past the pit entry point I will wait for everyone not involved in the accident to pass so as not to cause another accident, as soon as I am on the track I will type "CAUTION". Only when you see me type is the caution officially in effect, continue racing until you see it. Once the caution is in effect, those drivers involved in the wreck are allowed to pass me, they may not pass any other drivers. This will allow wrecks to rejoin the back of the pack without being an entire lap behind. Once everyone is back together and I reach pit entry I will exit and the lead driver should call "ready, ready, ready, green" as they reach the start/finish line, at which point everyone can floor it on "green" and the race is back on.

DJ/Roadrash, can you confirm this sounds ok?

That sounds good to me. We will do 1 complete lap under caution. I will say " going green this time" that will let you know to hit the pit before we go green. I think JT designated me to call " ready ready ready green" so there is no confusion. I'll start the count when the lead car gets past the entrance to pit row. Also drivers are to catch up to pace car at a reasonable speed then slow to 60 mph that way the pack doesn't lag to far behind.
Good work Soopa!

Hey all, looks like my baby boy is arriving. Probably won't be seeing you guys for the race of course.

Congratulations! Best of luck! Hope all goes well!

Congratulations, JT! I sure hope everything is great. The Super Tuner League sure is a fertile group.

Congrats JT! Hope you're prepared for some sleepless nights! LOL

@ncr: i believe we are gonna do 60 grueling laps tonight!

Any possibility we can run the event scheduled for the 29th to Thursday the 28th? I have a family thing.

Fine with me, what is the event anyway? Touring, 600 PP, Forest Reverse, Racing Softs?

Next week is touring 600pp Laguna Seca racing softs. The event for the 29th is TBD

Do we get to race the touring cars like the touring car picture with all that rubbing and stuff? That will be fun. If I can make it.

Godangit
Hopefully everyone got the rubbing out of their system during the Nascar race.

Just the response I was hoping for. For some reason DTM races seem to result in more rubbing than normal. Maybe because the cars feel so blocky and invincible.

Are we limited to just the DTM cars, or any touring car? You have two lists of touring cars in that link, the top list is all DTM and the bottom list is the rest of the touring cars.
