Another good challenge is the latest seasonal 650pp@ Nordschleife. Try to beat the McClaren using Race Hards. I got lucky with a lineup w/o it or the Zonda and won easily w/ the Nissan R35 TC. Been trying with the R390 Race Car. It's a bitch getting around the brainless GT500's.

I beat it second shot with the Citroen Race Car. I had the McClaren by the 1st roundhouse.

So I do suck. I hit 1877, 688 then chopped to 4 hundred something. I was surprised as usually I'm about 5000th or so. I only do 2 laps on most, 1st lap is usually silver then I gold. I don't spend much time on them, just want the money. Maybe I should actually set up a car and try to do better. Good job DA.

I placed 60000th and change.

Lol, I was hoping for a different response. Didn't pan out like I wanted to...I didn't place anywhere close to 37th. You placed better than I.

I usually do the same as you, get the money and run. Then I try to see how well I can place....then it's like, what's the point, I already have the money.

There's a couple Time Travelers on my friends list I try to beat if I've got time to spare. As of last night there's one person that's ahead of you now JT. Couldn't resist!

Looking forward to tonight. It's gonna be a quick race. Did some tire wear tests-when the fronts start to go, turn 1 gets real interesting.

You've put a lot of time into the game lately and it shows.

I got to run some practice last night. My rears wear out before the fronts. I end up drifting most of the corners. even with that I'm able to go without a pit stop.

I'm sure I'll be distracted tonight. My new wheel is being delivered today, but I don't think I'll have time to set it up before the race.

Looks like we have a full house.

DJ, sure you still want to run the short track???

Well, I honestly believe it may be to late to switch up the track at this point.

I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner but when I got home from my 10th straight work day I just jumped into skyrim and let my frustrations out on some draugr wights. Well, until I ran into a frost troll and was killed, repeatedly.

I finally am off and have a full schedule for today so don't expect me on the boards to much today.

And I'm definitely looking forward to this race. I've heard reports of multiple users on short tracks with no issues recently so I'm not expecting any big problems. If we do encounter some really bad glitching/lagging though we can hold a vote for switching to the full version of the track with less laps.

Lately though, the online experience has been pretty stable (for GT5 that is).

Also guys, this race is going to be packed with lots of traffic to contend with so harness your road rage and have some fun!

Two words....Rome Reverse..... That's all I'll say.

As far as switching to the full version; you can run your same set up as the East Track. I've ran it with no problems

Traffic; once the leader catches traffic prepare to have a jam up behind you as there is no where to pass

Hopefully we'll be glitch free. Short track racing last week sure had a disappointing incident. There will be piles of dirty air to contend with here for sure-easy to go off into the abyss of sand, never to heard from again. These little cars don't do well getting bumped (worse for the bump-er). Should be a fun one though, I love the Elise.

Hmm, maybe I will pull out my big brother Espirit..

I always have a plan "B". I also sit facing the door of any restaurant, diner or pub. And note the locations of all exits.....just in case

You sound like a secret agent lol.

I don't see the harm in running a quick six lap sprint in your lounge to see how it goes. If it is absolutely terrible (ala Rome reverse, which btw is a much bigger track)
We'll go from there

DJ, please don't take my post race comments as negative towards your series. They were racing emotions that were driven by "in race activity"
