Supercar Festival - Help, tips, information.

I used the Zonda (not the expensive one). Brake, suspension, flywheel, and clutch upgades, and stage 2 weight reduction. I had no problems at all breezing through the championship.

I don't know how you guys are modifying the engine or power and getting let in. It states "Unmodified cars only".

Grant it I didn't go up against the Cien but did have the VW, S7, and Lambo "not sure what it was called in the game", Zonda CS, and Vette in the race.

The hardest part was getting used to the braking distance needed for the Zonda to hual up. It is pretty shocking considering it was a supercar.

lol gonna be hard not to spend that much for the supercar cup. my car is in my avatar and signature; its a nissan skyline v-spec (not 2) N1, fully modded with everything possible, pulls about 830hp and 630ft/lb torque. the thing that makes this car unique to all the others is its brakes and handling. its astounding how fast it can accel and deccel, aswell as take corners. the best buy thats comes out less that your 400k budget 👍 (btw got it to around 280mph)

I used MAZDA RX-8 Concept LM Race Car '01 from the RX-8 event. Had to improve the Turbo to compete with the Zonda but won fairly easily. At stock it could win the races as long as the Zonda wasn't there.

i modded the Saleen S7...but the stupid B-spec driver kept crashing it into the wall...

I did worse in A-spec in new York...that braking point for the hairpin comes up really quickly

You can actually modify them to a degree. Everything except Rigidity and weight reductions seems to be ok - so feel free to tune up your Ford GT.

can you modifi the cars for these events???

The unmodified rule doesn't actually pertain to the tuning. It means you can't have any race-bred cars entered, i.e any of the specific Race cars, like the Bentley Le-Mans, etc etc. Tuned cars are fine.

M3 CSL 455hp is the king of the tracks. Very nice to drive and goes almost as fast as a jet fighter

Try to use a Saleen S7
Do not tune it...
If you can drive well, you won't have any problem,,,,

Do not buy a Ford Gt '05, because, if you win this festival, u'll win that car...

I used the NSX-R LM Road Car. The regular ones cannot get to the horsepower limit, so... I gave it a turbo 4, about 1005 horse. B-spec is an idiot, couldn't even win with a 1005 horsepower car and 1230 kg weight... had to do it in a-spec, laped s7,gt,cien,zonda,spyker...easy...

i used a fully modded ford GT, which i call the 'rapemobile' because of the piss-poor handling and braking. however, ive got a new rapemobile now, the Speed 12, 1000+ hp on sports tires = sideways action

for those of you who couldnt win the supercar series in b-spec. i just won it, after many tries with many different cars. i used the zonda c12s 7.3. he won against a cien and another zonda 7.3

I used a Ford GT '05. Didn't really have any problems in A-spec. Didn't do B-spec on that one. Can't B-spec them all can you! Gotta have some fun. = D

The Saleen S7 is all you need to win this series. In stock form you should win them all. I think the S7 drives fine and YOU drive like utter crap. If you can't handle this car (and win) with 558 ps, then what makes you think you can handle it fully modded?

the corvette is perfect yet you need to get used to its handling... try not to race with the cien

YET it can beat all cars - SLR and the Tommy ... Anything also its dam nice on the american circuit... i havnt tried bspec with it on all tracks but give it a shot!!

I bought a nice shiny red Tommy-Kaira ZZII for this race, boosted it up, improved drivetrain, lowered the weight and gave it new tyres/wheels. It won't let me in when it says unmodified cars only!! I don't know why because it's not a race car per se and I raced another ZZ2 in that comp with my Saleen S7 (which handles like a pregnant yak)

The ZZII is a road legal race car, the fact you race against one in some of the races is unfair, as it is when you race against the W12, Cien ect. I say balls to that, but theres nothing you can do about it.

A 455Bhp CSL cannot enter this competition, try it and ou'll be turned down.

I used the Merc SL65 AMG. The cars a POS in my opinon(well not in real life, but compared to other cars in GT4). But I was able to basically destroy all the races with some good driving. Best thing is, it's pronbably the cheapest Uper car you can buy at a bargain price of $190,000.

The Vipers are both a hell of a lot cheaper, as is the TVR Tuscan which can be bought and tuned to 500Bhp+ for less, and the Cerbera.

I just did this race last night and thought it was easy on A-spec. Only about 55~99pt per race with fully modded M3

Your right, my mistake was i never drove it stock, i just modded it right when i bought it, I again tried, this time w/my m5 in b spec and lost to the Cien. I will detune my S7 and try again.

BTW you can't race it w/the LM-Rx8 production vehicles only...

What is the best car & setup to use in B-spec? I've honestly given up winning this on my own. I thought I had it last night when I discovered my S7 gripped like a mofo with race tires but they're not allowed in this series. I really want to pass this considering what you get as a prize car & the fact that it'll unlock a whole new set of races in the form of the exreme races. Please...help me out!
