sweet, noticably quicker. now if you dont mind, I have some other forums I frequent that I will pass this message along to.

If you right click on a Firefox Shortcut and add
Code:
/Prefetch:1
to the end of it, it usually makes it load a little bit quicker when you start FF.

Thank for the new setting Shannon

Wow, this tweak is great. I've onIy had FF for a few days and this has made it even better. :)

Kind of. Fasterfox will download all of the links on any page you go to. Not bad for a "regular" website, but murder on a forum. I had Fasterfox installed for a few hours a while back and then took it off. It has a timer that shows you how much time you've "saved" by having all the links cached. After 4 hours on GTP, I'd saved a few seconds, if I remember correctly.

Your not going to get T1 speed from dialup no matter what settings you change.

Actually, as long as you turn off that particular setting "Enable Enhanced Prefetching" fasterfox works great and does all that was listed in the first post. With the exception of one setting.

One of the guys I work with was reading this and suggested I install Tweak Network 1.1. It does the same thing as the settings changes and you don't have to turn off FasterFox's prefetch.
