T500RS Racing Wheel for PS3 $150 Microcenter (Still hope?)

routed? Pretty sure you are in, mine still says pending. Hoping to see something that says its been shipped and not cancelled.
 
@eSZee How did you get them so fast? How did you order them?
Local Pick up at 2 different locations. They were ready within 20 minutes. When picking up the 2nd one, the manager asked if I wanted the last one as well cause she was tired of carrying them all night and it was ~15 minutes before closing, so I jumped on it.
 
under my account and order history. shows status under order number and date placed. mine still says routed so fingers crossed.

mine said pending all last night and I got the email about 30 mins ago saying my order was cancelled ( this was my second attempt as the first was cancelled too) so unless someone on here is willing to help me out im pretty much screwed

same here i just got an eamil saying mine was cancelled as well so now im gonna call customer service to see when the funds will be deposited back into my account.........some ol bulls**t
 
Well, at least for a few fantastic hours I felt like a t500rs owner...
*sniff* must have suddenly gotten a little dust in my eye. :(

yeah I used my CC and not my debit for that reason but there is still a hold for like $310 on there for my two tries. they are just gonna tell you its up to your bank or something like that as thats what they say on the website.I would expect it to come off in 48 hrs hopefully

It sucks as I had wanted this wheel forever to complete a set up for GT6 I was putting together and really proud of... and I know it will never be that cheap again.

Tell me what they say when you call them, i used my debit card and i will like to know when they will return my money so i can buy a good Router (My throat hurts so i cant speak with them over the phone)
 
I just got my cancellation notice also. I guess a few people made out! Stick with the G27 I guess,unless Amazon has a deal that springs up.
 
I called this morning (25min on hold for cust service rep) to say "I placed an order last night and I wanted to see if I could change it to instore pick up"
knew that was unlikely - but wanted to see what they'd say about the order...
REP: Item sold out - not available for instore pick up.... actually item not available anymore...
ME: Will you carry this item it in the future
REP: yes...
ME: great, I guess I'll just have to wait - what is your backorder process and when might I expect the item as its a Christmas gift...
REP: it's likely the order will just get canceled when it gets down to the warehouse because its unavailable

ME: i figured its a lost cause at this point - so decided to lean on him a bit.... I pushed back a little with - why would you sell something you don't have? It's 2013 - I've never heard of a company not honoring an item they ACTUALLY SOLD. I have a confirmation number and a preauth charge on my credit card.... Who do I need to talk to about this - I need to complain about Microcenters policy on selling items that they dont carry...

long story short - gave me corp hq #
I called Microcenters Corp Complaint Department - chatted with a gal - retold the story and said - its completely not acceptable for a company to sell an item online and then not offer a backorder if its their mistake that they ran out but still let me buy it - it would be one thing if the item was not to be sold again by your company - but you sold me an item... I need to either
A. know when i'm getting the item(s) you sucessfully sold me
B. i need to know if its Microcenter's policy to sell items that they dont sell - because if that is the case I am going to notify the world online via twitter, forums, blogs, facebook, any other medium I cant think of that THEY MAY WANT TO THINK ABOUT ORDERING FROM MICROCENTER AS THEY WILL HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY ARE ACTUALLY BUYING AN ITEM OR IF THEY WILL GET AN EMAIL IN 2 DAYS SAYING THEY DIDNT ACTUALLY BUY AN ITEM - THEY JUST WASTED THEIR TIME....

Im a kill them with kindness guy - and very often know they way to get my way...
I'm doubtful this will get resolved good
but you never know

thats the latest on my - escalating things to see if we can get them to honor our orders
if something comes of it - I'll reply back and let people know what i came up with and maybe they can get their orders honored too!!
 
Just got cancellation emails for both of my orders this morning, had received confirmations for both last night.

I'm guessing that as more and more people went and claimed in-store pickup orders, they started cancelling orders that were going to be shipped. Thanks a lot @eSZee! :P
 
Just called my local store after just seeing this and someone just bought their last one....for $149.99!!!!

I went to the Micro Center in my area come to find out they had 40 and someone bought 15 in one pop. I wounder how many of these will pop up on EBay or Amazon? Not cool:lol:

Both of my orders were cancelled at the same exact time, even though they were separated by more than 300 other orders (going off order number, anyways). So I'd say they aren't going chronologically through them, either.

Manager told me they get order info within minutes of order being placed online and then pull items off the shelf to hold for that order. Shipping orders go through the central warehouses which then fulfill those orders.
So whether an order is placed for pick up or shipping, the items still get pulled off the shelf but that's only IF that item is available for shipping from that store which these wheels were NOT.

That's why I might not keep 1 for myself. The rig I built for the DFGT was ok for that, but this thing is a monster and I'd have to spend some time designing a new platform for it.

Wait, what was the status of your order? Mine says routed and I haven't gotten a cancellation notification yet. It's been almost 24 hours. I thought i was in the clear..
 
My original shipped order hasn't been canceled yet, it's still Routed as the status. I got the confirmation for it early, about ~4 PM EST yesterday. I talked to a rep today to ask about the "Routed" status and he said:

"Hi, sorry for the wait. The order was processed and sent to the warehouse but they have not shipped it out yet. When they do, you'll get an email with the tracking numbers. That's what that means."

This makes me feel a little better... I have not heard of anyone getting an order canceled after it has been Routed yet. I did read the confirmation email carefully and it basically explains the "confirmation email" only confirms your order, and not that it has been processed (it says that). So a bunch of these later orders got canceled since they never got past Pending. My order was pending but not for very long maybe 10-15 minutes before it went Routed.

So I think the only thing left to do is wait until the 5th and hope there are no "unexpected delays during the fulfillment process".
 
Micro Center is getting a lot of heat for selling more than one unit to people. The person who I spoke with told me most of the calls they've been getting is about cancellation orders for the T500.
