Damn that Clk looks good.
That's the Fluid Motor Union CLK Black Series. It's an amazing machine.

They designed and built an F1 inspired exhaust blown diffuser for it too.

The exhaust setup

And before anyone whines about the wheel/tire setup, this is the track setup.

And some noise.

I only have a rudimental grasp of how exhaust-blown diffusers work, but on a road car it can only be a gimmick. It was developed in F1 when diffuser sizes were restricted. A small increase in diffuser size on this Merc would increase the possible downforce much more efficiently than a blown diffuser ever would. Looking at the pictures, i can see more scope for a size increase in that regard. You also need the throttle mapping changing otherwise the 'blow' is only effective on big throttle openings. [/killjoy] ;)

Are you sure? The post said it was a CCX engine, I **** you not. Unless you know more of this car more than me.

I can post more images of that one but, i gotta find it again.

Yes I'm pretty sure, I read the entire build thread a while ago, the engine is a Ford V8 with a custom twin-turbo setup instead of the twin Rotrex planetary supercharger system the CCX uses. And as Stig Farmer said, the CCX engine is in fact a modular Ford V8, so that might have led to that confussion.

Questionable modifications thread please.

And who in their right minds would replace a perfectly good 302 with an electric motor? I realize electric motors have their pros, and that they have been proven to be fast, but a few upgrades on that 302, and it would beat the 🤬 out of that battery.
