That's cool, where is it residing? I know it was built out west and also was for sale this winter.
I haven't a clue if he sold it or still has it.
Last time I saw it he was building an insane stereo in there.

I like the rims too. They're perfectly fine for me. It will be too gaudy for the car if it's completely bone-stock, but with that aero package, the color works.

In case the rear wing looks kinda ungainly to you, take a look at the one on ES Motorsport's Ferrari 550 LM:

So does that mean it has to have a big ass spoiler on it?

Rear wing, front snowplow and maybe other bits of body stuff, but yeah, to have a theme it absolutely needs visuals. It's not called "dorifto style" for nothing. And it's not just for a drift car. Every style of recognizable modification style has visual cues.

Okay then. I like it the way it is now better. I hate the snowplow and wings anyways.

Compared to half the crap you like on the questionable mod threads and you dare complain about a win on a 550 Maranello? Especially one with a GTS Le Mans wing that is tasteful and functional...
It just looks out of place on that 550. I just like them without wings like that.

...Guess you didn't know they had a 24h Le Mans winning machine. Guess what it had on the back...a wing

What's with the oversize wheels and the massive hood scope? I mean I understand the functionality of them but the car just looks like a pro tour gone bad to me. This thread is going to obviously be subjective and more judged then the questionable modification one.

Those aren't oversized. They are 18s at most. And for those brakes to fit in, they're probably necesary, not to mention they are one of the best billet wheel designs around. These, on the other hand, are oversized. The hoodscoop, believe it or not, is a factory-size Boss 429 replica hood scoop.

I'm not a big fan of that end of the whole pro-touring thing, to me something just doesn't look right about muscle/pony cars on 17"+ wheels and rubber band tyres. :indiff:

Personal preference I guess.

I also think the car's ride height being that dramatically lowered make it look goofy too. I mean certain cars with subtle lowering like big muscle cars I'm fine with. However, pony cars come off looking like those slammed Japanese cars the only thing missing is the asinine amount of negative camber.

The scoop is there because the supercharged 540 engine wouldn't fit otherwise. You could see the supercharger sticking out when the scoop was off.

Perhaps you didn't see where I said I understand the functionality, however just because it is an option doesn't make it the best option, a cowl would have worked just as well.
The scoop is an exact replica of a factory installed scoop on the Boss '9. They look awesome.

You're right it probably is (not sure how you can say exact from an image) but I never liked them and my point still stands it's not very tasteful still.
