Except for the fact that it required a bit more than floss and some fresh double-stick tape. But hey, to each their own.

I've seen a few Evo 8 front ends that have been put on to base model Lancers, something which requires a lot of effort as the front fender panels need a lot of custom work to mount to the factory housings. Did people deem that as tasteful? Not particularly.

Just because something takes a lot of effort and/or ingenuity to complete it doesn't exclude the end result from being a bit tacky.

I hope this was an example of something that required a lot of effort, but is very tacky.

It's a horribly proportioned bodge-job Frankenstein of a Boxster which exudes tackiness and gaudiness by the bucket load, which isn't helped by the fact the car it's based upon pushes the boundaries of taste straight from the factory.

Glad to get that out of my system.

Er, that's odd. When someone posts something you don't find tasteful you're like 'OMG YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS' but when it happens to you, you you disregard it and say it's a matter of opinion of tasteful. :odd:

I don't see how one is related to another. I respect others' right to voice their opinion however they choose because I expect the same right--and I'll readily admit that I can be brash. It's not my fault people have a bigger problem with my opinions than I do of theirs. Sure, I'll make an effort to backup my opinion in subsequent replies, but I won't go bat 🤬 crazy over it.

No. All you're doing it is rolling it but not dicing it in return.

I'm not sure I caught the idiom. Do you want I should be as assertive in defense of my opinions as I am in voicing them? Maybe I don't like that Boxster "GT3RS" as much as I dislike RWB--I merely appreciated it.

Again, you'd think I was the only one disagreeing with others' idea of tasteful. Take a page from @LivingWithGames' book and move on.

Move on? That's exactly what you should do when someone posts something you don't like.

That's what that Porsche was? I just assumed that someone put RS parts on a 911 cabrio.

Oh man, if you love low Hiaces come to New Zealand. Since they're so common and owned by young people the amount of modified ones is high. Even the toaster shape which you posted is common enough modified.

They made a GT3 cab?
Oh sorry, I didn't proof read my last comment. Anyway no, there was never a GT3 cabrio. I was saying that I thought that Porsche was just a normal 911 cabrio that someone decided to put GT3 RS parts on to make his own GT3 RS cabrio or something.
