You should be asking in.s@ne where his stratos is for lightweight judging and for another category or macca for another category to judge, but he's just been moving. :P

I'll get there, Mum broke her ankle the other day so I'm looking after her a bit... I promise I haven't forgotten! There just aren't enough hours in the day
 
I've driven the first 3 Supercars. 👍 A little behind schedule, but it'll be done by late next week. I had a Twin Ring Motegi dream last nite...more like a nitemare. It didn't make any sense.
 
I just finished driving the XJ220 on Friday. should get 2 or 3 cars done today, if life doesn't intervene.

Looking forward to the 2 Aussie competitors in SUPERCAR. 👍
 
Heads up y'all. Camry Fan's FPV can't make the gearing he requires with an Auto setting of 8. The gears don't go deep enough. I had to use 10, instead. What doya think? Legal? I think it should be. I'm gonna test it this way. It's not looking like it'll be a mean threat to the winged cars.

Um...another issue. Mafs's Typhoon (equipped with a Stage 2 turbo, oil change, engine balancing, port/polish, racing muffler, & racing intercooler) makes 623 horsepower, and its power/weight ratio is therefore 2.85 Correct me if I"m somehow wrong, but this seems illegal...

Perhaps it was supposed to be a Stage 1 turbo? This would have put it at 558 horses with a 3.18.

EDIT: never mind...I just read the SUPERCAR rules again, which clearly give TWO ways to divide the P2W class system.

DURRRRR!!! :P If I created the rules then why the hell would I even break them!?!?!?!?!?! :odd: C'mon Parnelli, you should know me better than that by now. 👍 AND mine passes in both ways. It's over the 2.785 WPR AND it's within the minimum 550hp/1601kg+ rule. ;)

I've only got the XJ220 left on my list to do but offline issues (ie. new job) held me back. I've got today off but appointments this morning so I should have some time this afternoon.

As for Camryfan's car, I used Auto 10 myself from memory.
 
Like I said RJ, 1 more car for me in Supercar then I can concentrate on the other categories.

Remember, I've got to work + family + appointments and I've got the car troubles....my list offline is worse than it is on here. :crazy:

I've been doing judging the past couple of nights, two cars per night. But I've come on because there is a small problem with today's first car and I'd rather get to it before anything happens.

RJ with your STi-511, you should actually rename it. To the STi-494. ;)
You forgot the oil change. :D

I'll be kind and put it in there for judging (but it IS 518hp and you can bite me with the ps/hp thing! :sly: ), but this is why I'm being anal and taking my time with each category, I want zero mistakes from my part. :cool:

Sorry to bother, but am I testing RJ's Subie with an oil change or no? I'm noticing he's only making 494 horsepower (as noted above) with the current list of parts.

Not to be a prick, but if it ain't listed, (and the car is otherwise competitve) I dont' think we should install. That's how I've been doing this all along. None of VTiRoj's cars have a carbon driveshaft listed, and I haven't been installing, and he hasn't had a prob with this. He's accepted it as his mistake.

EDIT: you know what? Screw the official answer. No oil change listed...I'm not waiting! I'm staying on schedule so I can get back to my ordinary life, and driving the WRX-494 instead of the WRX-511 or 518 or whatever. :grumpy:

Your call PB. I gave him the oil change, but honestly I think the car will do better without it. That extra 25hp made a bit of difference to the behaviour of the car.
 
I built it to run at the full power and even if it hurts me I'd like it to stay that way.

Oh well. As Mafs said, your call Parnelli. :/

VTiRoj meant to list carbon driveshafts, but forgot in every instance...does this mean I should soft-putty his mistake and install them anyways? No way. Next thing you know, everyone's gonna start saying "well I meant to do this but forgot...can you retest?" :indiff:

Don't worry, your car did some amazing stuff without the extra power. I think if it had more power, for instance, there would definately have been some wheelspin showing up, which I woulda docked points for. As it is, I like how your STi layed it down just on the edge of wheelspin, but those tires would "hook up" at exactly that moment you'd think they were gonna lose it. 👍

I'm letting Parnelli go first with results and will follow straight after him with mine. They are complete, I need to do a full write up though.

I'm not done with McSweegy's car, tho. I'll drive that tomorrow, then i'll be DONNNNE! :cheers: So feel free to post your results ahead of me. Or whatever.

I probly won't post results till Thursday or Friday because I'll need to take a couple days to really get scoring down pat, so there's (let's hope) no retests or complaints.
