Hey love your tunes but I can't seem to adjust the transmission I can do the final gear and that's it I buy the fully customisable one please help

Nah I can buy the $20000 dollar one and install it then I go to adjust it and I can only do the max speed nothing else and it never lines up with what shmagt says

Read my intro says how to set transmissions

TUNER COMMENTS:
I was actually looking for a good old school muscle car to do and was deciding which one when someone asked for this car. Originally I had comfort hards front and rear and it could land big drift, but it was just so tough to be consistent each time which is why the mediums in the back give it that tiny bit more grip it needs. Drifting the straights you gotta watch a little with the gas maybe even more than the corners as randomly it may stick to a straight path and just go off the track if you floor it too much. With a little practice I'm sure you will love this car as much as I do.

Hello, Shmo... I too have been requested to do a tune for this car and scouted around to see what other tuners have done so I had an idea on how to approach this. I was rather suprised to read that you started with CH front and back but put CM on the back to reduce the inconsistancy. I dont have that problem. The one Im tuning is consistant every time. Nails the line I tell it to, holds insane angle. Overall its just a beautiful handling car. Which brings me to this, did you try altering the suspension to make it more consistant or did you just slap the CMs on and it worked. Very intrigued to see the way you tackled it... 👍

Well I pretty much made a tune I felt was awesome on it but it was a bit too hard to control for normal people I felt. Added comfort hard tires and it made it much better however not enough power for them. Switched to the mediums and it was exactly what I wanted. Have you drove my car? I can get extremely high points the same as my speed 12 and this car has half the HP. It's actually my fav drift car because it scores so highly and I can tandem online easy as pie too.

Yeah but what I'm saying is it doesn't ever match up with what your specs are and the actual gears you can't touch because there faded out

Update your game. You're about a year behind.

Ya buy the full customize transmission that's like 20k and instal it when you buy. Than do what my intro says. Other than that hook your ps3 to the Internet because you must have a very old version. If you do than your gonna love all the new features with the updates.

Hey shmogt being the crazy  type, I'm attempting to learn how to drive a manual transmission (using my DS3), learning to drift and attempting to make my first drift tune all at the same time.:lol:

I'm sure I have the wrong car for this but I'm determined to make it work. The driving I'm not so sure about.:embarrassed:

If I put the car on share could you check it out and give me some ideas to make it as good as possible for drifting. Think I'm going the right way with it currently but would like some input from an expert drifter and drift tuner such as yourself.

By the way I'm practicing on the seasonal tracks, mainly the old seasonal. Haven't tried the dirt one yet.:nervous::scared:

I would suggest learn to drift fairly well before you start releasing it even trying to tune your own first. Just because how will you know what works well if you can't drift good enough to be able to tell anyway lol. Driving manual with ds3 for drift is easy since its mainly reving to the max anyway. The hard part is how much gas to use.

I can check out your car no prob either way tho. Will I be able to tell easy which one it is since you didn't say? Also seasonal tracks are usually very hard to drift at so I would stick to the ones I list in my intro. For dirt tracks they are tuned different I find. I have tried my cars there and ya they work but not as good as custom built for a dirt drift. I'll be putting out a special for dirt only one eventually.

It's the little brown box.:D:lol:
Yes I'm crazy to even be attempting to turn it into a drift machine. I'm getting close to the bronze point total currently at Suzuka Circuit East and today was my first attempt at drifting so figure its my driving more than the car...💡

lol ok I will test it tomorrow. Was working on tunes tonight and when I was done my PS3 dropped internet so I couldn't check it than.

Hi! Does these tunes work well with steering wheels? I mean, is there something different if drifting with the wheel. Your cars are so sensitive to drift, so it's hard to keep them on the track (I think it is my lack of experience, but Im getting used to it :)). But does controller need more sensitive car than steering wheel to get it drift?

Hope you understand my,not so good, english :). Keep up awesome work!

can you do a merc C63 AMG drift tune?
O man I wish I had a tune for that. I was gonna make my own, but I saw this guy on youtube who has the sickest video of him drfiting one and I am trying to get his tune. Hopefully he says it's ok to post it

The wheel makes it harder to drift, but they can be done. It doesn't really matter the tune for wheel or controller just you will have to know how to drive it properly

Have you had a chance to look at my little brown box so you can tell me how hopeless it is yet shmogt?

Nope. Haven't even been to my ps3 today yet. You can check to see last time I signed on to make sure I'm not lying lol.

No need I believe you, I know how things go.:D

Man o man I tested your car. The choices of cars you choose lol. A little tip for future cars is more power! I tried as hard as I possible could and retuned it to be loose as hell and best I could do was a tiny bit over 15000 at Tsukuba. Decent amount for the car but I really had to work at it.

How to make your tune better:
Mid range turbo
Have top speed next to the graph no higher than 92
Insane amounts of negative toe front and rear. I found more at the back than front
Insane amounts of camber. I found more at the back than front
Tiny bit high dampers all around
Brakes whatever I never hit them once since power is so low.

Best tip of all is just pretend this car doesn't exist and start with a new one. Rear wheel is your best choice having a 4wd makes it much harder to tune right and you need a lot more power since the whole point of 4wd is to not let it drift. If you want a lower powered car try out the old supra. Still old, still cool, only will drift much better

Thanks for the feedback.👍👍
I'll see what I.can do with it tomorrow after work. Yes I know it is a crazy  car to try using especially for my first, but ole Harvey Wallbanger here has never been accused of being overly attached to sanity!:lol:

So far I've managed a Silver on Fuji with my little brown box.:yuck::crazy::lol:

Edit: Just got Gold at a rank of 35,361st...does this mean I'm now a drift god?:lol::lol:
