Hey guys, am fairly new to drifting, but am getting there pretty quick!, i use a fanatec csr wheel and can get a solid 17,000 around Tsukuba (but will still find the fence once in a while). Am not really great at following tandem (smoke still confuses me a bit!) but i have fallen in love with the drift and was looking for some peeps who knew their stuff to chat with furthering my understanding of the style!

i use the lexus IS 200 (j) which isn't super powerful but have found it a great learner and pretty easy to tune. :)

You definitely are not the only one. There is only one in Victoria with that kit that I can say looks good

Hope you join the boys regular rooms or even add some of them as a friend. Everyone is more than welcome to join us, and time should work out since the team is primarily Australian.

Thanks mate!, yeah i was online last night and TH137Z and a few other familiar names from this thread where around, thoroughly enjoyed myself! and yes would love to hook up with some regulars, will search through the thread for a few psn id's and see you out there!
 
GT6 now has some type of community feature involving "clubs". I don't know if this will be helpful to teams like yours but I just thought I'd let you guys know incase. :D
 
Apart from the update of Suzuka and Community feature. Another pointless update.....

Update Details - The "Community" area has been added to Online Mode.
- The Suzuka Circuit 2014 track has been added.
- The BMW M4 M Performance Edition has been added to the BMW dealership. Tuning parts and custom parts have also been added for the BMW M4.
- A new challenge event has been added to the Sierra Time Rally.
- The Game is now compatible with the MoTeC's i2 Pro data analysis software.
- The GPS visualizer is now compatible with Nissan's NissanConnect NISMO Plus for NISSAN GT-R NISMO.
- The "Onboard Mic Position" option has been added to the in-race quick options and the "Sound volume" section of the "Sound" menu.
- an option to adjust music and sound effect levels has been added to the quick options available during replays.

Have the "unicorn" cars been reset or have they found a way to patch them up again?? Not that it bothers me in any way, but it would be interesting to know.

PD, with their new update have also taken away the beautiful turbo spool from the Blitz ER34's. :mad::banghead:

Whaaatttt? The turbo spool was the whole reason why I did so many RB25 swaps on GT5! So many people including myself praised the sound of the new Subaru thinking that the new update maybe had some good sounds. But now we've lost this sound? :confused:
I really do hope it means that we will receive better turbo related sounds..

One can only hope....

I've truly lost hope for the future of GT, PD are giving us the same s:censored: VGT update's over and over again and so many people continue to praise them for it.
The new Subaru VGT sound is awful in my opinion, just a typical fart cannon sound lol.

I don't care about the VGT cars, they're ugly as sin and aren't important at all. I really only like the sound of the Subie on downshifts because to me it had that proper Boxer sound that I'd like to see implemented into the other Subies in the game. Keep in mind I haven't listened to it in game yet, just from a video of someone else's in game footage which was kind of recorded with a potato.

Oooh! Make sure you visit Tatsumi PA as well as Daikoku Futo! Feel free to leave some pictures here too!

Also, if your thinking of making it into the above locations, make sure you have a car or you wont be able to make it in :)

Oh really? I had planned to go to Daikoku but we don't have a hire car. Not doing a whole lot of Japanese car stuff there, just squeezing in a couple of upgarages and Bee R. Going to the Mooneyes hot rod show on the Sunday then head straight from there to Osaka. Spending the Saturday around the Yokohama area so stopping off at Bee R and the couple of UpGarage's near by. Have you been there?
