Most of you guys are lucky. You say you were waiting GT5 for 5 years. Well I waned to play GT since psx (but ended up playing sega genesis) . Same happened with PS2 ant GT3/4 . Now I cant even find a GT4 in my country (to play on my BC ps3) . So I ended up waiting 13 years . Its sad when you think about it.

I couldn't wait anymore so i bought prologue recently (now Im angry at myself that i didn't buy it in 07, and only reason for that was. "GT5 will come soon and i wont be able to sell it anywhere").

Welcome MB. I hope you time is hear is a pleasant one. GTP, that means be on your best behavior. In case you do not all realize this is one of the few times our big "little" forum has been recognized by the outside world. It would be wise to foster that connection.

Hello GTP'ers (...does that sound strange? I'll stop calling you that :D)

I hope you dont mind me barging in to your community! Admins, just drop me an email if you frown on this sort of thing.

I was checking your site out (how could I not after so many of you came to visit us!) and noticed this thread.

I just wanted to swing by and say thanks for dropping in on us really, it looks like you guys are very passionate about GT and you definitely made your points very clear in the Andrew House Q&A thread!

The Q&A will be conducted very soon. I personally dont have any control over what questions are asked/answered, but I will emphasise how passionate you all were about GT5 in the thread and hopefully that will provoke a response.

As an aside, your community is HUGE! OPC (Official PlayStation Community) is relatively quiet on the GT front currently, so I'd love to set up some inter-forum events. If your admins/event hosts get in touch (Drop me a PM over at OPC) I'm sure we can sort something out.

Thanks for taking part in our Q&A!

Much love -

MB

Wow, just noticed this today and I have to say thats very cool that you stopped by and were so cool about this. :)👍

Thank you

Dear Mr. House,

As you may have heard, GT5 fans are getting rather restless for a release date. Unfortunatley, this is due to Sony, and the developer, Polyphony Digital for keeping us fans in the dark. As a long time customer of these two respective brands, i'd like to formally complain about Sony's marketing division. As i am sure you are aware, this delay causes fans frustration over the lack of information about your product. Plain and simple, withholding information about a game is bad publicity, and bad marketing. If Sony does not work to correct this problem, Gran Turismo 5 will be the last game i ever purchase for the console. I will take my money to your competitors, Microsoft, and happily spend my hard earned dollars towards a franchise that actually pays attention to its customers (Forza).

Kind Regards,

Sean Mayer aka GTP_Rennsport

Well done. Someone who hasn't written in big colourfull writing and hasn't demanded answers. You have been adult about it and have spoken sensibly and shown your views without being childish about it and I hope he respects this and might respond.

(fingers, toes, arms, legs, ect crossed)

Not trying to be funny but, is there any release date for the answers? Shouldn't be that hard to say "Fall 2010 again". ;)

Well first play was a huge fail (filled with old videos) so any hope in getting any information before E3 is here.

MusterBuster are you there?...

From MB's profile: Last Activity: Apr 21 2010 11:02 AM

He registered, and then posted only once. He had just one week since 21, maybe they're still "filtering" and "rephrasing" the questions, otherwise, MB has suffered an spontaneous combustion and vanished. I can't explain in other way ;)

fixed:sly:👍
Anyway I just hope Muster will really emphasize our passion and disappointment at the same time.

What is the latest on this?

Sadly nothing.. Although we have to accept the Sony chief exec has other commitments and can only answer when possible in his busy schedule..

I'll update the first post and close the thread when Andrew House has answered the questions.

Yes, whilst I must thank everyone involved for creating such a unique and positive opportunity, a bit more organisation would have been preferrable since, yet again, we find ourselves in an undefined period of 'waiting time'; surely a bit annoying by now (especially since most of the questions were surrounding this very complaint!). Still, it's not unreasonable for MB to have not seen this coming.

Perhaps organising a fixed date and/or time frame for the interview before getting everyone hyped-up might be a better course of action in future? Again, I don't want to sound ungrateful about the progress being made, but it's not just a little bit ironic what's going on here.

A month and a half is not that long... ;)

What? C'mon man, that's six weeks! :nervous:

Seriously, one and a half month is a ridiculous waiting time, after five years we're very close to have a good demonstration of the final product, I'm relaxed. :zen: :)

All of you seem certain that lots will be anounced at e3.

I think some stuff will be anounced however please don't seem so certain because if it doesn't this forum might explode with the anger, and I might have to be the one in the bunker saying "I told you so".

More importantly has the sony executive responded to our questions yet?

We will know more about it "soon".

Stay tuned.

I'm waiting for the answer of an interview to know the time i'll wait to have release date to know how much time i'll wait for the game...:dunce:

Well, we had only "I can't elaborate much at this point" from Kaz thus far, so getting a decent presentation explaining features and a video with some unseen tracks and cars can be considered a lot in my accountancy. ;)

More than that it's unlikely to happen, sadly.

He's only 90% sure of what questions he wants to answer, all else will be revealed soon.
