I am still looking forward to this game but the lack of Lamborghini, Bikes, or Corvettes is a huge disappointment. Oh well hopefully everything else makes up for it.

Apparently bikes will be included as dlc with some being free.

Looking at the car list on the first page, there were a few cars that were mentioned and seen that aren't on the official list. Like the Saleens and the Lambo. Seems like we already have an idea of our first DLC content. And don't forget, Bikes are coming. Also, don't forget, this is the first time Playstation will have DLC content for TDU and, if you remember, with the first one, Atari promised DLC content every month but quickly ran into issues with Microsoft being slow on their testing and even returned a couple pieces of content. (Interestingly they didn't do any of that with Forza 3) If MS is slow this time, however, PSN could see the content before Microsoft.

Methinks the biggest issue is the severe lack of Civics. Total no-buy for me because of that.

I saw that Cosmetic Surgery video for the first time today... couldn't stop laughing. Then I saw the rest of the game. Egads, what an interesting concept... if only the car list were more comprehensive and if the "hardcore" setting is really so, this could be a real winner.

If you want a good idea of what the games like, look at teamVVV's youtube account but it has massive spoilers.

This is the big mystery. There was clearly a shot of a Murcheilago on the TDU2 website, when it was just a teaser... plus there's a Lambo on the first page of this thread. Please let there be Lambo in DLC...

Now that the mclaren mp4 12c is in the showroom what are the club exclusive cars as the mclaren was listed as one?

Is there any comprehensive list of cars available? looked around abit and i've seen a lot of speculation but nothing solid.

Also the pictures above look really rough, compared to the standard of games these days (Codemasters games + GT5 for example), i don't see the improvement over the original game.

What does this game do better than the original? From what i've seen the graphics are much the same, the carlist is worse and the physics are still crap.

As for TDU2 improvements over TDU1...I don't know for sure as I don't have the game yet. However, it sounds like they included a lot of stuff fans have been asking for including a livery editor, the ability to use the airport, day/night cycle, ability to drop the top on convertibles on the fly, working car washes, trucks/SUVs, the ability to get out of the car and walk around, the ability to customize your home and garage....in short, TDU2 has become even more of an MMORPG than the first one and Eden worked on what fans wanted. The graphical issue may have something to do with the fact that all the images are on the Xbox 360. I don't think we've seen the PS3 version yet. PC users were saying that there were several improvements in the Beta. But, the game is a week away and it seems like Eden has pulled a Motorstorm in terms of the car list, and released a few cars but will be adding on to it later. Even then, there's over 100 cars.

I've just pre-ordered it as the Casino seemed like a cool addition and via Play.com it was the same price as standard editions usually are in the UK (£39.99 with free delivery).

I played the first tdu on my 360 until it red ringed on me. Me and a buddy used to take our skylines and drift all around the place. I hope this is as good as the first, the car list looks shrieked and the motorcycles not being in it from the start is pretty questionable. I'm reserving but im also waiting on the reviews.

I don't know about the motorcycles not being from the start being questionable. I mean, didn't you have to play through a few levels to unlock 'em in the first game. Just think that this time, when they do arrive, they won't have to be unlocked. And it unlocks the opportunity for move bikes than TDU1 had.

You know, at first, I was kinda sad at the car list 'cause there's no more XJ220 or Lambo or Maserati...but...but..there's Spyker...more Spykers than any other game...and Ascari, and Ferraris galore....yeah, plenty of fun cars to drive. and more to come.

Ya I need a game where I don't have to worry about the mileage of my car. GT5 is fun but I get obsessed with keeping my new cars at 0 miles.
