It should function if you're using the interfaceone PCB and a fanatec wheel correct?
Corrected and Correct.

GTMarineHI guys, the TH8 on mode sequential doesn't work on GT5?
I can't believe it! PD???
Is there anything that might be wrong in your setup? Are you able to hook the shifter up to diagnostics to make sure it's working in sequential?
As of right now the sequential function is not compatible on PS3 only PC...
gslooney... the TH8 can be used as a manual gearbox or sequential lever to change gears through Up/ Down motion +/-, a vast amout of race cars have this.
I actually can't believe there isn't more of an uproar about this..??
Doesn't it work at all (as sequential lever) or does it depend on the car in GT5?
I'll try it sometime today- I was told that it doesn't work in GT5 (the stick sequential on the TH8RS) so I've been using paddle shift for sequential shifting (Super GT and modern Dual Clutch cars).
ordered the th8 rs shifter from amazon yesterday morning and received it today, cant wait to get home.

Maybe I'm missing something (wouldn't be the first time), but for sequential shifting, wouldn't everyone prefer the paddles? I mean... isn't that how it's done in real life??
mykemIt is now but a couple years ago GT race cars with sequential shifting weren't allowed to use paddle-shifting. For example, look at the 2008 Super GT cars in GT5- they are all based on stick sequential.
However, all that has changed. I don't know if it's through all the classes but in Super GT, the GT500 cars have been using paddle shifting since 2010 (and a few teams even in 2009). I' not sure about about FIA GT classes but it's allowed in ALMS.
Hi isamu, not sure what you mean, I have number of devices connected to the pc.
and you just asign each one in game settings. i don't see the conflict using dev01 spot or dev00 spot
got my wheel as dev0 in iracing and button box as dev1, when I got this shifter i'll let you know as I will connect this via usB .
Most modern PC racing SIMS are indeed fine, as they acknowledge ALL your USB devices and do not care which order Windows places them in. Some racing games however, like OutRun 2006, Trackmania Canyon and games that are run in emulators such Daytona USA, do not make this distinction and will not "see" my wheel unless it's USB Device ID1. The Shifter prevents this because Windows always sees it as device ID1 and bumps my wheel and pedals to #2 & #3 respectively. That's the problem.

My understanding is if you have the TH8RS plugged into the PS3 (USb) as well as your T500 Wheel.. then sequential mode shifting with the TH8RS is not currently supported.
However If it's connected to the fanatec Wheel (which is behaving like a G25!) then it works..
Couldnt resist this 278 in aud and got one from amazon lol 149
You guys are bad influence, just bought my frex shift + too
You're going to love it. Get a custom knob, increase the resistance, and enjoy
Got my second TH8 mounted in sequential mode today.
^^^hehe, nice choice.
I love it, had it a week. Great feel.
