 Thanks. :)
I think I used some rustOleum gloss. And I didn't primer it, just lots of light coats.
And the rims were plastidip, because its awesome.

The Saturn was only around for a short while. I can see why people like them, but I didn't care for seeing them around every corner. Granted I see a ton of outbacks but I always make sure mine stands out one way or another. :D

And make no mistake, the vette is not mine, a rotary beats this mans heart.;)
Not like its a bad car by any means.

Oh and my gf said I had to post my pic. Sorry...

Yeah and Im still trying to figure out the fueling problem with the 7 but it was able to make it out to the 4th of july car show and it won 1st place!!!(though it was the only one in its class :P)

Wow what a difference that made painting everything black. Turned out great! Sounds like you were as busy as I was painting everything black this weekend. That seems to be the trend around this forum lately.

Dont I?

Also picked up a spare hood, now I have an H6!

Not a whole lot going on in my world of cars or motorcycles but here is a mini update anyway.

Flamve got a new bike:

Suzuki SV 1000, sounds pretty boss I must admit.
Then decided to have his first lowside on it:

Not too much to the bike, he wanted new handlebars anyway. But he fractured his ankle and got some nice RR since he dont wear any gear.

Thats how you remove a leaky power steering.

Oh thats right, someone jacked my plate and or it flew off at a high rate of speed. Either way, I am pleased with my new plate that cost me a billion more dollars.

To what I was talking about with the "too much boost thing"
Evidently Mazda figured that the IC needed to be bolted down on both ends. And since Im making some nice constant boost..... (oh, yes, it does feel good) Its going "KASHIUURR" and then the car dies because the IC is shooting off. So, Excuse me if we see some Grade C welding, I may need a custom bracket. But Im hoping to pick up a bracket from the 7 club instead.

On another side note, I plan to go ride a 2009+R1, that crossplane inline 4 sounds too good not too,but im uncertain if I want to give up my 04.

Have a nice day.

Congrats on the Miata! Love the hardtops, would have gotten one myself for winter as well. And seeing the FC makes me think of this:

Oh hey thanks! Also thanks for that vid, not only was it done in MN, it reminds me how fun it was with the FC in the snow. Lets hope that's a repeat with tha miata.
20130919_185727_zpsf3d9f806.jpg

So compression was meh, but then again, its a harbor freight gauge and may not be super accurate. And second number was with some oil in there.

Old plugs....i mean really old.

Oil changin'

Well first I Did some fitment checks and found out for sure that NA miatas CAN fit a 205/55 R16 tire but not very well.

20130923_153116_zps46aa7f9d.jpg

It wouldn't touch or rub anywhere but I dont think its a good choice for winter.
And then HOLY RUSTUS!

And the video. Though after just thinking about the course, it very much annoys me I wasn't driving with a plan. And it shows. On the flipside, the tires I have are not good. Period.

Thanks for sharing the photos and video. Looks like you had a lot of fun.

I would recommend Nitto tires. I have been running them on my 69 Camaro at my road track events and daily driving for about 9 years and I love them. I run the Nitto 555 extreme. I am sure all these years later they have even better Nittos but these are excellent on and off the track. Even in the rain they are very impressive.

As for the rust, you should look into properly repairing that before it gets worse. Especially since it looks like part of the sub frame. Properly repairing will involve welding in new metal. No other way around repairing rust that bad. If its not repaired your body is going to start twisting more and more with each autocross.

This frame section is VERY bad. Even the part your jack is under is in very bad shape.

That is a lot of rust...
Heck yeah it is!
That FC sounds so nice D=
Why thank you.:dopey: Though I don't think I will be able to get to the dyno this year...I want to make a nice sound video while its on there.👍

Yeah, maybe for the summer I will try to cut and weld. But in the meantime I will let the Minnesota winter attack it one last time.

Thanks for the input! And yes, I definitely did have fun.:)

Well I did some work on the Miata:

And then I found an Rx7 for $1300 and I think I will go get it....because I kinda like Rx7s and rotaries.

Finally I but a "clear" bra on my dads Mustang so that the rock chips are lessened going to Las Vegas and California. Where I plan to drive a 458, Porsche 911 and Vanquish.

That Miata looks tons better! And where are you going to be staying in LV and California? If you don't mind me asking.

Why thank you. :)

And one of the cheap hotels near the race track in Vegas and my cousins say to stay in a hotel near Long Beach.

Well, the miata is gone, it was fun while it lasted, but I wouldn't fit with full winter gear.

But I might be goin 'Murican....I don't know yet.

Anyway, I couldn't ask for a much better birthday present.

My brother and father both did this a few months ago so I just put them in there too.

I have no idea how to quote under this new format....
@JrDarkness
I figuring taking car of the rocker panel holes first for winter(not even close to miata bad), more stuff will likely be done to the car in the summer. But I'm not planning a whole bunch, likely just a catback exhaust "maybe" a test pipe. And possibly a MBC. Then clean it up where I can. Corvette buddy was considering it for a Auto x car instead of his vette.

@Leondae
Yeah, I would say that head has been done, the original engine experienced that, then the guy got a JDM motor and while it was out, checked the head and re-torqued the bolts. :)
