Fake! That's clearly the back cover of the new film from Sir Clive Sinclair called 'Jetpac, the Movie'. I believe it was shot in Petts Wood and photoshopped. :P

I didn't realise how large that pic was when quoting, honest!

I need to see it again for the fact that it blew my tiny little mind!

@AT, if it was filmed anywhere it must have been Pinewood!

Huge pictures are huge.

Get used to it, the next GTP update will bring 3,000 x 3,000 pixel avatars ;)

I know they're big but some people like to use them as wall papers etc so 4 seconds if worth the wait...or 8 seconds if Shem keeps quoting them

It's actually a plastic toy shot with a tilt and shift lens in front of an inflatable globe...I lie.

At about 100 meters from the cargo bay of the space shuttle Challenger, Bruce McCandless II was farther out than anyone had ever been before. Guided by a Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU), astronaut McCandless, pictured above, was floating free in space. McCandless and fellow NASA astronaut Robert Stewart were the first to experience such an "untethered space walk" during Space Shuttle mission 41-B in 1984. The MMU works by shooting jets of nitrogen and has since been used to help deploy and retrieve satellites. With a mass over 140 kilograms, an MMU is heavy on Earth, but, like everything, is weightless when drifting in orbit. The MMU was replaced with the SAFER backpack propulsion unit.

Love the second pic! Unleashes a bit of loneliness but the setting sun cools it to a nice, relaxing mood of the man.

'Tis. The water kinda totally reminds me of a video game, it looks fake lol.

It isn't fake. I've spoken with the photographer about the shot before. Guy lives the dream, travelling around and taking pictures of just about anything. Though he does go overboard with his HDR sometimes. If you'd like to see some of his ramblings outside of his main site, his Google+.

Yup, such a life is certainly a dream come true. *sigh*

And thx.

Oh and of course I know it isn't fake, I said it just looks fake, like in a video game.

Not a 'wow' picture, but I was so impressed and amazed looking out of the window, above the clouds.

It's always amazing to look at the Earth from such altitudes. 👍

For me, it's the fact that you can't even see the earth's surface that's so amazing. And the huge, glaring sun was immaculate.

It may not be as amazing as the other pictures but it's pretty cool with the craftsmanship to make the effect.

I saw something on TV a while back about those crystal caves. They can only go in there at a time when it's not fully submerged in water.
