Although now that Big Picture has been mentioned you can see these on your own, but here are two special ones.

Here's some pictures that you may not think are that great, but I really like them (since I took them).

Great view of Michigan Technological University, where I'm going to school.

A couple cool cloud formations.

View of the beach at my grandparents camp (cabin) after the ice has melted. If you're wondering why the sand is black, it's because there was a copper smelter about 3 miles down the beach back in the early 1900s. They would get copper out of the lake and rocks, and dump the slag/crushed up rocks back into the lake. Eventually it made its way to the beach and became the sand; it's called stamp sand (and boy does it get hot in the sun!)

Some various sunsets from the beach and in town.

Talking of that, I've flown over vegas at 30,000 feet at night, looked amazing 👍

The photo is of Las Vegas.

Which explains the sand in the vacant spots and I guess the lack of a decent yard, although even if I were living in a desert community, I'd still want plenty of space between myself and the neighbors, especially considering there are no trees for privacy. I'd also want some land to do some sort of landscaping with. :indiff:

Makes you wonder how many of those are in or near forclosure though. :ill:

Reminds me of the first Grand Theft Auto.

D-N's just helped me put my finger on why it looks vaguely familier - in terms of space and the houses in it, that's fairly standard for a British town/city.

The only reason you can see the ground is because it is being exposed by the moon over a several-minute time period. The dude running around won't get exposed enough to even leave a darker streak. The light doing the streaks isn't bright enough either.

That brdge picture for a second I thought it was the Golden Gate since the towers are practically the same. But there is only one.

It is. The other side is covered by fog. :)

Thats really quite amazing, how do you come across these btw, just google images?

I've got a bookmark folder that takes me a good hour or more to get through. It covers all design fields, but I've also got a good selection of the visual arts, where all sorts of inspirational thoughts spring from, and sometimes show up in the form of these great photographs (there's also threads on other forums that are exactly like this one).

If you're in any creative field, it's great to build your thought and experience with as much as you can as it will contribute to that huge bank of knowledge that is your creative brain.

Was that taken recently? There's a crap load of fog here at the moment, has lasted for 5 days now.

There's a revolving restaurant on that circular building (Harbour Center) to the left. Imagine how surreal it must be to dine above the clouds like that. Awesome.
