Earth's city lights.

The one thing I've always loved about that picture is the contrast between North and South Korea.

I love how the US fades to black until the West Coast :D

It's an awesome picture.
It's something that you could look at for hours.
Too bad there's not a hi res version of it.
*hint, hint*

That pic never ceases to amaze me. I always loved how the eastern half of the US is all lit up,and the west is dark until the pacific. In Kansas and Nebraska it's towns all in little rows. It's as if people moved west, they said "Lets put a town here, and here...and oh wait....here!
Thanks to TB for the huuuuuge image!

Where? That would be awesome!

I've clicked the link TB posted, and looking at the image I can't help to feel it looks more like a blown up version of the one he posted previously, like there's not enough sharpness.

Is that 54,045,400,000,000 x 98,555,533,100px version a high quality one?

I really love this kind of images, gives you almost a fresh perspective over the entire planet, and you keep trying to find something interesting or some weird pattern or something.

Or maybe I'm just going insane, which would explain a lot.

It started out as two 4100x4100 png's that I merged. The only problem was that I then couldn't find a site to host the 10 meg image so I had to dumb it down to a 1.5 meg jpg. :guilty:

If you have trouble viewing it like I and others have, save it to your computer and it'll be visible.

A few photos I took of amazing and cool things today at the Banksy exhibition, the first 4 are Banksy pieces, the others are just museum pieces;

Moglet, those are amazing pics! You got any more of the Banksy exhibition?? Everyone at work just flipped when I told them I (kinda) knew someone who's been to the Banksy exhibition and I had the pictures to prove it!

We've all been following the exhibit news for some time.

It's funny how much of a big deal Banksy is in the rest of the world now.

It's quite amusing to think that the council here (Near his regular haunts) used to spend days and thousands of pounds scrubbing his work off of walls.
Ahhh, memories.

I've got loads of photos, I'll upload the rest tomorrow. I might be going to see it again next week, so many people want me to go with them! :D

I remember when I first heard about him I was in uni at Taunton, quite a few people thought he was a guy at my uni called Chris Banks who was obsessed with graffiti and street art. It would have been a bit too obvious IMO.

I love how most councils now go out of their way to preserve his work!
