Sure I can, and am. I wasn't terribly interested in it to begin with, and I have nothing but disdain for Mustangs and their owners, so I'm not going to bother watching further.

Yeah I get that some mustang owners can be compete morons, but you're painting with an awfully broad brush.

It's a very unusual reason to quit watching a show inside the first three minutes, I'll give you that.

You know that there are precisely no Mustangs in the rest of the episode, right?

I don't.

I wasn't all that into Top Gear, though, and if I didn't already have Prime, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did into this.

...So yeah, since it's not available locally as of yet, is it worth waiting till December? I managed to skip every post before this one, in fear of things getting spoiled for me - meaning, I've not read a single one.

Should I wait for it and plonk down some hard cold cash, or, uh, go down the extra-legal route and be done with it?

Someone has a bit too much hate in them. Not specifically for Mustangs but just in general if that's how you react to something.
Disdain≠hatred. But with driving being a large part of my job and the abundance of sheer jackassery I've witnessed from Mustang owners, coupled with the car's retro "muscle car" moneygrab nature--sure, the Camaro and Challenger can be lumped into this group, but I see far fewer of them and their drivers don't so typically exhibit the same sort of behavior--it's really not so far off in this instance.

What about Audi drivers? :sly:

Got to watch it yesterday...

what is to say, finally the 3 british lads are back. Yes it feels like old TG, but I take that as a positive. I couldn't stand 1 full episode of Chris " not Captain America" Evans. This on the other hand, I truely enjoyed...

The momentum between the 3 was not lost... I guess that is what most people liked and missed, the dynamic the 3 car nuts have going, buddies poking fun at each other while having a blast in cars...

Jeremy seemed really scared on the LC with the P1, and yes we need James standard line back

Agreed, for those that haven't seen it, Skinner can actually drive pretty good for an American.

Mike Skinner has a significant set of brass ones. Better than that F1 driver, they obviously had three good drivers for some of the driving shots, anyone know who else drove on the portamao section ?

He is certainly still a great driver!

The guy I had in mind was Kenny Brack, but I realized he is from Sweden so that wouldn't have worked anyway..
Whats Jimmy Vasser upto these days??

I know right. In all honesty, I have never heard of a more stupid reason to hate and stop watching a show than that.

Great episode.

If the celebrity death thing is going to be a common joke, I guess I'll be skipping ~5 minutes an episode then. Absolutely terrible.

I enjoyed the first death....anyway, LOVED the show. Can't wait for them to get onto some proper challenges. Hoping to see them drive some beaters. And, this is no knock on the show, but I didn't like the results of the lap times of the big 3 hypercars. Don't want to give it away for those that haven't watched. My wife was happy - I was not

It was awesome, I'm glad to find them as they were, I couldnt help but smile at the start of the episode. The tent things is not my favorite part I must say, other than that it was great the car shots were amazing, some of the best car porn I've seen in many years. God I love that P1.

The trio still does it for me and I can't wait for the next 11 episode.

I found the new track very blend and boring tbh I dont get the whole danger things and it's again a track that will favor grip car. I guess it's the best they could find.

I was impressed with his driving on the show. Thought name sounded familiar, that's the lap with most commitment at 2016 Goodwood FoS IIRC. Makes him ideal driver for the kind of track they've got.

Certainly looks that way, yes.
Had a feeling it would.

Am I'm glad that's the case because

1. Bye bye SIARPC
2. It was IMO one of the funniest things I've seen on top g- ahem, I mean from these three doing a car show together in a long time.

The first time, sure. The second, meh. The third? Enough already!

I personally found the second with the snake the funniest. Third was probably amusing for me more because of who it was . But overall yes I did enjoy it.

got this in my recommended list, gave it a go, and it is very interesting, explaining why things are done like they are done now, and it's hard to believe what lengths the BBC goes to protect what it thinks is contained within their IP, including James May's catch phrase, or calling an africa vista beautiful :banghead:

Funny to watch too ;)

Ugh, Mustangs...

I'm done.
This triggers me!

...just kidding. :P

Okay, on another note; I watched it a couple days ago and I quite liked it. It feels well...like a typical Top Gear episode with all of their silliness in tact.

Finally got around to watching it last night, I pretty much agree with everything already here! Regarding the celebrity deaths though, is that because BBC have stepped in and stopped them interviewing celebrities about cars? Sounds ridiculous, but they have stopped James saying "Oh cock!" so... If true, it would basically make the section a big finger up at Top Gear - "Look who we COULD have interviewed...".

This comment at the start didn't go amiss either, "we are 3 car journalists who have been doing this for over 20 years". Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc?...

Finally, about the drone. It didn't make sense. Except do you remember the first controversy? The filming of the Amazon Fire TV advert where the drones were flying in a protected area. Were they referencing that do you think? I wonder if it will be repeated weekly...

I thought it was a just a joke about guns in America and how Americans always shoot things.
