I think henry will leave this summer... In the long term this will be for the best as the whole teams game play is based around henry.

Oh and man U's champions league games

If Henry leaves Arsenal he's stupid. No toher team wil revolve around him as much, and from the players view thats a good thing when your team revolves around you. If Arsenal let him go, they're stupid because Henry is one of the best players in the world and by far the best in the squad.

Our Champions league games haven't been great this year, we need to win our next game to guarentee we get through to the knockout stage. Mind you we've go Neville back now, a couple more games under his belt and he'll be back on form to strenthen our defense. We need more in the mid-field though, we need a player like Balak it it ends up being him or not, we need a player like him.

Ah yes, your typical biased fan view. If you are comparing Rooney and Van Persie, then you can compare Henry and Rooney, and there chum, there is no comparison to be made.

So you bought a striker, because he is reliable, but cant score goals. So you bought a reliably useless striker?
The Van Persie and Rooney comment was down to them both being youngsters, because it was a debate about youngsters in the squad, Henry is a much better player than Rooney as things stand, but Henry isn't a youngster. I can't recall comparing Rudd to Reyes, and I've scanned my posts and can't spot i, I'm sure I might have but it's too late and I'm knackered so I'll comemnt on that another day.

And way to go twisting my words on Smith, I didn't say we bought him because he can't score goals, I said he can score goals and when he was played as a striker he did score a good few times. We bought him because he was reliable, you knew you could count on him to play with commitment and he has the skill to make that commitment worth sommething. What I sad was his lack of goals recently has nothing to do with his skill, it's the position he's being played. He's in the mid-field and not moving far forwards very often. You don't score from the halfway line, unless you're name's Beckham ofcourse.

Barcelona plays just the way Henry likes it. If he doesnt go to Barca I dont think he would leave arsenal. Ballack doesnt want to go to man U cause he says he wants to win throphies and especially the champions league and Man U have alos lost their sponsor after yesterdays draw.

Balak hasn't said exactley what the papers make it sound like what he said. Like I said though, we need a player like him if it's him or not, we still need a player like him. As for Vodafone, they're just any other sponsor really, I don't see United having a hard time getting another.

As for Henry, like I said, if Henry leaves Arsenal, he's stupid, and Arsenal are too for not talking him out of it.

Anybody see the Man U game yesterday, we played very well. That was some of the best play I've seen all season. Two goals from Rooney and O'Shea put us in the lead 2-1.

Van Persie scored a craking goal over the weekend for Arsenal and Cheleas won.

Newcastle lost to Everton but had a penalty not given that should have been, it would have been a very different game if the penalty was given and the player that handled the ball right infront of goal would have been sent off.

Eh, we don't play again in the Champiion's league for over a week.

Well we won today after a dissapointing period for us we won 4-0 to Wigan, easy victory but what we needed all the same.

Everton got beat by West Ham 2-0, happy days Dave. Serves you right for playing so defensive all last season.

I thought it was 2-1? And did you read the two posts above your last one. I guess YW was right ;)

I hope Arsenal win for obvious reasons, I think it'll be a draw or Chelsea will win 1-0 or 2-1 though.

Manchester united won 2-0 against Aston villa.
Manchester city won 4-1 to a shameful Birmingham.
Everton got hammered, again 4-0.
Wigan won 3-0.
Newcastle won 4-2.

Good day, tomorrow should be a belter, Arsenal v Chelsea.

Good win for newcastle, we were the main match on football first:D

Owen getting his first newcastle hat trick:tup:

Shearer got a sudden birst of speed for his goal eh. Good to see Newcastle doing well, I like them. half of my family are geordies though so there may have been some persuasion techniques used on me at an early age that I can't remember.

 A west ham supporter phoned up on talk sport saying how crap Newcastles defence were, we werent perfect, but were we the ones who conceeded 4 goals? and the goals we did concede was an own goal and a penalty.

Stupid hammers fans.

The Newcastle defence was good on saturday, but did you see MOTD when they showed how they did without Owen and with him? It seems that Owen is a good defender as well...

Well there was some interesting gaems today, Man U won again 3 - 0 which is nice. Ferdinand is like a Stagecoach bus.

Arsenal wern't at their best today.
Chelsea robbed Wigan, how Joe Cole didn't get a red is beyond me, and then he goes and sets up the second goal. Ridiculous refereeing imo. He was the last man and the ref gave a penalty, thats an automatic red no matter how deliberate the tackle was. Wigan were also unlucky their keeper got injured he was doing well, almost straight after they sub him Chelsea net one straight through his hands, he dived with his hands about 2 foot apart, well ofcourse your not going to bloody save the ball like that when it's going right between them.
Newcastle were semi-robbed, they didn't score or really look like scoring but they had a player sent off (Bowyer) who didn't deserve it, when theres good potential for two of the Liverpool players to have been given red's.

You must have been watching the game so attentively that you forgot that we were actually playing fullham and not wigan. The refereeing was pretty crap for most of the matches. I mean, terry thought he was the keeper at one point, Izzet got sent off pretty unfairly, ref missed a blatant handball from Zat Knight and Cygan. Also Barros pretty much handled the ball in the box before scoring. etc etc etc

Pretty bad standard overall.

Bad mistake, it was half past 1pm anway I was knackered. It was Man City who played Wigan. Man city nearly made a superb comeback, but they fell short of producing that last goal so Wigan won 4-3.

Yeah the number of missed handballs was shocking, Izzet's sending off was one of the worst I've seen for a long time.

Ahhh wigan, the little team that could. Mind you it's nice to see west ham back in the prem as well.

I'm tipping Brum, West Brom and errr perhaps Pompey to go down. But i'm hoping that Arry can turn it around, I mean when he left they were pretty much a mid table team and were able to give some of the big sides a hard time.

So you don't think Sunderland will be relegated?

That'll learn man city to beat us 1-0 last season.
You only just got it, and it was lucky, flipping Sun Ji-Hi couldn't even kick the ball off the pitch, talk about incomptent. Thats the difference between Chelsea and Man U at the moment though, where Chelsea are scrapping wins, were drawing, like today. We'll finish 2nd this year I think.
