Yep, right at the bottom in 20th place. The only reason I wouldn't like to see Sunderland go down is I like Mick McCarthy, he's so dry in interviews, cracks me up sometimes. Average manager like, but I like a lot of his post match comments. Thats not really a lot of reason to not want them to go down though eh.

I know, but his more detailed versions of "yeah we were crap" crack me up.

Good result for City today. I knew the derby was going to be tough, but City made it look like a walk in the park!

I hope us Gunners can do something sensible this week, things haven't been too rosy for us :grumpy:

SEVEN NIIIIIL, SEVEN NIIIIIL, SEVEN NIIIIIL, SEVEN NIIIIIL.

What an awesome result. Henry was on fire.

Henry was electric.

Nah, the match stats show that United had all the possesion what little possession City had just gave them the goals. David James kept City in it with a few good saves, but regarding City's goals, the build up to the first goal was offside, and the second was a hand ball. Fowlers goal was the only legit goal City scored. You can't really go on about that though because it will go for you some games and against you in others but I do think the standard of refereeing today is pathetic. The problem wasn't so much that the ref was wearing a blue vest though despite the fact he tried his best to make it obvious, because we still shouldn't have let 3 goals in, it was Silvestre's fault for two of them, I'm rating that guy less and less with every passing month.

I'm actually quite shocked with our performance, with our current standards i thought pulling something like that off would be next to impossible :scared:

Brilliant result nonetheless :D

Kudos to Henry.👍

Hopefully things will pick up. I want to see us return to our natural form and play like how we use to.

You got 7 goals against what was probably the weakest backline playing in the prem this week. The average age of the defence was like 18 or something.

Oh yeah hurrrrrrrrrrrrr robben gets sent of for celebrating and Ronaldo being incredibly useless for man u.

Also why isn't Vidic playing in the man u defence yet, I mean silvestre is just a clown. AND I WANT TO SEE MANICHE PLAY FOR CHELSEA DAMN YOU JOSE

Meh, they thrashed Manchester United 4-1, so we must have been doing something right :D

I think you'll find that their defence wasn't made up of inexperienced youth team players when they played man u.

Steve Mclaren is a terrible manager though and I don't want to see him anywhere near the england team anymore though.

True, but i just thought like saying that to make me feel good over the little we have done :D

:P

Yeah fine I see what you mean. Didn't henry break another record with his hattrick?

The chances are he'd be the best player whatever club he went to, Chelsea and Man U not excluded. Henry is superb.

He's just Arsenal's best player, if he left they'd do rubbish.

I think they could have done without henry if they kept Vieira. Oh Arsenal signed Abou Diaby from Auxerre and Emanuel Abeydor from Monaco. So you've got more young 'tallent' when you needed to buy an already proven player that is a bit older than 21.

Although from what i've seen Abeydor is a bit like Drogba.

Also Arsenal seem to want to sign theo walcott from saints, who is meant to be 'the next big thing' at only 16 he's been touted as Henrys eventual succsesor etc etc.

Edit:

Also Anelka looks like he's fed up of playing for Fenerbache and seems to think newcastle is the place to go. Also Rumours of Real Madrid to swap Gravesen for Luqe.

7-0 win yet I fear arsenal are still ****e. I dont see why we kep payting so much for youngstaers who wont be any good to us for a good couple years if they actually do indeed end up being very talented.

Arsenal are in a position like Man U at the moment, they're re-stucturing the side. Hopefully for Arsenal fan's you'll have a side that click together sooner rather than later. Same goes for us, only we've been re-structuring for a couple of seasons longer than Arsenal have and I think were close to fnding a side that can compete again, though we'll never be as good as we were in 99. It'll be a long, long time before any club has a team that good again.

Errrr, did you not see? We just lost to EVERTON. :grumpy:

Im gonna disown those bunch of ungrateful lazy overpayed players. Arsene needs to get them in the gym to toughen up a bit. They havent got enough skill to be able to prance past other players that are playing rough. They arent on brazils or barcelonas level.

Poverty
They arent on brazils or barcelonas level.

Not many teams are on this 'level' to be honest. This season has so far been too disappointing for words - we need some motivation and Russian Tycoons :sly:

liverpool shall beat man united today, we are in such better form, and liverpool's midfield; gerrard, alonso, kewell, and our right winger (cisse, pongolle, or kewell if he swpos wings with anyone) is much much better than, giggs, fletcher, richardson, o'shea,, seeing as ronaldo n scholes are out, our midfield will dominate, our back line is also stronger, the only place where man u are stronger is upfront, with rooney n van nistelrooy
