Arsenal don't have a chance of finishing higher than Man U, lets face it the top three are Chelsea by far, then Man U, then Arsenal who have one really good player (Henry) and the rest of the team are average when he's not on the pitch. If Arsenal had to play a season without Henry they wouldn't be in the Champions league the season after.

When wigan play the big three they will lose. I predict that arsenal will finish ahead of Man U also.

If I was a betting man I would put a large amount of money on Wigan NOT losing to the "big three". A lot of teams this season have looked better than Arsenal and Man U so I don't see why you're calling them the "big three". Wigan's style of play is something that teams are struggling to combat. They have pace and fitness everywhere, a strong team spirit and some pretty deadly attacking players. I don't think that they will win the Premiership or come as close to the top as they are right now because teams will adapt to playing them. However, if Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea beat Wigan then I will eat my numerous hats.

I hope by then you will all forgotten this post. :dopey:

Yeah but were building up all of our little uns. Van persie is shaping up to be the next bergamp reyes is poo and in about 2 years our young midfileders will be superstars. Its the only way of combating chelseas pockets as whoever arsenal or man u show interest in chelsea snap up. Just look at barcelona have their squad used to be youth team players and now theyre arguably the best team in the world.

I still say arsenal will finish on top of man U and well man U's only good player is ronaldo and then you have a bunch of old geexers ugly fletcher and hot head smith. Oh I forgot your keepers good and so is rooney.

Arsenals good players is our keeper hleb the defense a good striker and we have pires and lungberg. Arsenals trouble is that they pass to much and not take enough chances shooting.

Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea are the big three, it's just Chelsea is the biggest. It doesn't really matter how the table looks so far, the top three will be thoes.

From what I saw from the Chelsea game, Alan Smith was incredible.

I think it will be a different top three this year, I really do. Chelsea will win it, although next season they may not have such an easy time. I think that one of the other two might make it into the top three but that there will be one if not two other teams up there.

If only I had a crystal ball.

Are you smoking whacky backy mate, Ronaldo's not the great for one, he's got talent and may build up but he's not that great at the moment. Rooney is arguably the best youg player in the country, Smith is superb, he's not the most skillful player but his commitment is second to none, Fletcher shouldn't relly get into the United squad, I stand by that even though he scored a good goal on Sunday. Keane is still one of the best midfielders you'll find, and Gary Neville is a great defender as is Heinze. We've got more talent than Arsenal no doubt about it, the only two players I rate highly are Bergkamp (who will never be replaced, Van Persie is not close to shaping up to be the next Bergkamp) and Henry.

Agreed. Although Arsenal's team looks a lot more youthful, that isn't neccessarily a good thing. Man U will no doubt have a batch of impressive players waiting to come up from the Youth or Academy (or they can steal some from West Ham's). ;)

Yeah, at the moment the young players still haven't convinced me. Although I do rate Lauren and Sol Campbell fairly highly.

I dont belive this. Arsenal have way more talent than you guys. Lots of homegrown players that shipped in from other clubs aswell. The current Man U team is old infact Id say too old. You still have scoles keane and giggs and after keanes long term injury he has never been the same.

Arsenal as a amazing lineup for the future and thats why were not doing too well at the moment were building up or youth team for the future and once we move into our new stadium wenger could have up to 60 million at his disposable after all the years of him not using the money that he had.

Any players we do buy are always youth team players and well the futures looking bright. Arsenal are still the number 2 team in the country.

You can't always buy young players and expect them to perform at prem level for the whole season. Look at Senderos/Flamini/Fabregas/Toure (to an extent) all play well, but not consistently. If Arsenal had managed to buy Baptista, I guarantee 90% of the time he would be playing where fabregas is now.

Arsenal have allot of young tallent (and i'm going to hate saying this) but so do Spurs.

Edit: Ignore that crap I just attatched.

And you've done exactley what I'd expect an Arsenal fan to say. However, myself and a ton of other people will dissagree. I think you lack the needed talent to get first or second. As for Man U we have one of if not the biggest youth teams and youth development programs going. We've got tonnes of young players including the likes of Spectre, Rooney, Bardsley, Ronaldo, O'Shea, Brown, Rossi, Richardson, Park... Do you want me to continue?

I've been waiting and waiting and no one's mentioned it yet. United beat Chelsea on Sunday. I bet Jose's got concerns about coming to Manchester, it's the only place his team get beat in the Premiership .

We have been terrible (well in comparitive form) recently.

To be honest though that match could have gone either way.

Spectre is on loan at charlton isn't he? O'Shea is like 24 and brown is 25.

On the United and Chelsea match, yeah it could have gone either way, first half was ours, second half it was Chelsea who were pushing more.

I thought O'Shea is 22 or 23 at most, he's not 24. Ignor Brown, I fluffed that one, he is about 25, one of thoes memory lapses. Spectre is on loan at the mo, but he's still owned by United thats why I included him. Theres plenty more young United players I haven't mentioned yet including Miller and Fletcher.

TBH I wouldnt count o shea or ronaldo on that list. Other than them the only other person Ive heard from your team is richardson.

We have bentley flamini fabregas Nicky Nicolau Justin Hoyte Quincy Owusu Abeyie Van persie Arturo Lupoli Sebastian Larsson.

Considerable more talented players there than man U's midfield

Well a bad spell for Chelsea should make it more exiting. Someone just has to stop Wigan from winning all the time.

I've hardly seen Miller play, i'm suprised that fletcher has never been tried in Keanes position. Or maybe he has and has been terrible at it. The strange thing is that O'Shea usually plays in Keanes position for Ireland and does a damn good job of it, he just can't seem to do it for man u.

Bentley and Hoyte will be sold because they are english. The majority of those players aren't academy players because they have been bought from other clubs academies. Oh and you forgot Senderos.

Ronaldo, why not he's only 20. Your bound to know more youngsters ion your own club. If I asked a random Man U fan who half thoes youngsters you mentioned aer they wouldn't know other than Van Persie and Fabregas. If Richardson is the only young player in my list you';ve heared of (besides Roony and Ronaldo I presume) then that just means you dont watch Man U that often.

Yeah it's a frighteningly good run Wigan's had.

I think Paul Jewel is a pretty damn good manager.

Oh yeah, West Ham has every other team beat in youth development. But unfortunately they had to sell most of their players constantly.

True, I think Paul Jewel must be a superb motivator. Lets fact it, the players in his squad arn't the makings of a top team, from the stats side of things anyway. But for them to produce what they have been doing, it takes pretty damn good managment. The one think I fear may happen is thet they'll lose pace when were into the second half of the season, I'd love them to keep it up and shake the Premiership like they are doing for the whole season, but they arn't experienced in keeping the pace needed in the Prem for a whole season yet. I hope to god they do well though, not as well as Man U, so third place then.

Remember Ipswichs good run some years ago?

They didn't get to second in the table though. I forget, did they get a position in Europe? All I can remember is that they got relegated in the next season.

I'm hoping all three birmingham clubs (well from around that area) get relegated.

Actually no wait, sunderland are going to get relegated.

Man when they showed Fergie nearing the end of the borro game his expression could be best described as 'Contained Rage'
