Michael Owen for Newcastle? Now that would be a shock.... I can't see it myself - looks like Man U are in for him too now...

He will go to a club that plays champions league football and not one that is struggling to get in the top half of the leauge. I don't think he deserves to be come Alan Shearer 2, just imagine what Shearer could have done if he had joined Man U instead of Newcastle. He would have intercepted allot of those pinpoint crosses from Beckham I tell you that.

I have Sebastian Viera in my master league team in WE8, he's a pretty good keeper if his perfomances in my game have been anything to go by. :sly:

Apparently Owne wants to come to Man U, I think he'd be a great addition, he won't go to a non champions leage team and he won't go to Chelsea because he'd just be another bit player, having a full game here and there but mainly coming on mid second half.

I suppose so but it's unlikeley. The free kick is taken from where the player was standing when he passed back, not where the keeper was standing. So it's unlikeley that a player will do that from inside the area.

Less than 2 days to go till it starts all over again. Charlottes bought herself a cheap TV for the other room .

I hope west ham beat blackburn and tottenham just die.

You didn't deserve that, 93 mins and you were out played. On another note, yesterday I got given tickets to the Manchester derby, so I am looking forward to that more than usual.

That would be nice.

Man u won 1-0, Aston Villa had 8 or 9 men in defence for most of the game.

Big match later today, I'm hoping for a draw though, obviously.

Keeno, do you realise your name suggests your a Man U fan .
