Ah, now I get it. I thought this was originally about BMW License-building Volkswagens. But now I see. Hot Bimmers.

Man I need E30.. :)

they're starting to be rather affordable. well, in here atleast.

They're cheap in the UK too, but getting harder to find. All the £500 specials that used to be around, in perfect working order, all seem to have disappeared. Blame the rising price of scrap for that, I reckon we're losing a lot of perfectly servicable cars because it's more profitable for people to break them than it is to sell them on :indiff: And that includes E30s.

well.. E30 is more often a chav mobile here just because of the affordability.. and low prices of Rieger bodykits. ugh. X_X

Similar thing happens here. When you consider how many have been ruined or scrapped, and those that are just well past their best, it doesn't leave much choice in terms of good ones :indiff:

I've seen one of them here in Adelaide Australia but it was white, are they custom done or factory?

I think they were custom built.

Would have loved to get a E30 M3 or an even rarer 320is when I got mine last year, but the price tags on the very few available are just stupid.
Over here most people that still have E30's (regardless if it's a 316 or an M3) know and love what they have and usually don't want to part with them.

Anyway, on to a few goodies (sorry for any repost)

Now for a few ones from Portugal (unfortunately, very hard to find good quality pics to post, they're mostly crappy):

This one was taken in a TD on the Braga Circuit:

Notice the gorgeous 320is between the two M3:

Following good advice (👍), here's some more to add to the collection:

I still haven't shaken The Bug. Alpina Softlines are the perfect pairings:

This is a pretty tasty combo too, but don't know the make though:

Wouldn't mind a white one either!

E30's are where it's at. My dad gave me his when he "stepped up" to an '02 Audi A4. Best present I've ever received.

If this tells you anything... I enjoy driving my E30 BMW just as much as I do my "fun car" which is a 300whp turbo DSM.

Love the OZs here, but not so much the bodywork. Looks a little like a B13 Sentra, although I'm sure it is bigger in real life.

I'd forgotten just how stunning an E30 on some later Alpina wheels can look. The proportions are nigh-on perfect.
