you saying that there might be some people who are a bit better and can get better times then you but at the same time you tried as hard as you could with every car and most of them i have a hard time getting close to the times you've gotten.

oh i dont know man, can drive decent, get a few good laps here and there.
I get my ass kicked pretty often online.

1 second isnt much, you should be able to beat my lap times easily with a few more laps.

Just another quick question. I just did the race on Facebook to retrieve a code for a new Jag. Well I got the code and typed it in on the redeem bit on the PSN store, but I cant see how I actually get the car!!! I have looked on the game and no car has been delivered! hope I aint cocked it up and wasted a code

all the time now. I can get GT to work randomly after several restarts.
COD, on the other hand, works every time.

Sounds strange... but GT5 is a killer, you never now what it's going to do... I never had the exact same issue, but close. My 60GB died from GT5. I didn't have any text saying that, just these "symptoms"
1 GT5 won't start everytime, other games will
2 GT5 can start after 11 restarts
3 GT5 can't start
4 No game can start

But you should probably read about it elsewhere, I'm not an expert at all

I get the feeling the cdroms getting messed up. Not spinning, or stops spinning or something. Hate to have to give it in for repairs.

Going to do search later on. Hopefully will find the remedy for it somewhere.

chappy 2J, ford GT LM, vette ZR1 RM are a few good choices for the american

german touring: CLK touring, Lexus ISF racing concept are good ones.

the audi r8 LMS or CLK-GTR/LM would be good choices too, but i got those cars quite recently, and kinda remember reading they wernt allowed entry for some reason.

Judging by it's stats, I too was expecting it to be a bit lower.

Keep in mind, It's place in the lap time board should really just signify which cars it'll be most competitive with.

The lens got replaced, but I got a friend to repair it, he's a genius when it comes to things like these. Sending it to Sony was not even being considered as it takes about a month or so before you get it back again + it's pricy (I've read and heard).
It only worked for a month though so I bought a new one afterwards as soon as the symptoms came back. Won't recommend you to do something that may or may not be right.

In my case the disc wasn't found meaning the Blu-ray lens got broken, because it had no problems with PS2 games. Two things could've been wrong: GT5 was too harsh on the lens or something in my PS was breaking the lens.

You just get the message that an error has occured? If that is the case then it's not the exact same thing - maybe there's still hope that it'll make it
