The best GT5 cars according to stormbringer!

Here's something that pisses me off quite a bit

I've seen this happen to others and myself a bunch of times. Usually British, german and Spanish people who speak in a derogatory manner towards people with other nationalities and then kick them.

If you are such..you should label your room "euro only" or german only, whatever country you feel is superior.

I hate wasting time joining a room, setting up a car, going to race and getting kicked because my flag isn't euro. It's a shame people like these exist.

I don't care if you're racist or whatever you are, But I do care about my time.

I suppose I should post a new thread about this, rather than post it here. Will do that anyway.

If you are looking for the best car: CLK
Best solution in terms of economy: ISF

Both can win it, if not stock, just equip a set of soft racing tyres or a turbo and BOOM, AI is lost.

Any negative feedback from 787b and R10? might be getting those as collections/daily driven. Since I'm quite new to the game Cr is still kinda precious. Aspec lvl 27 Bspec lvl 28.
 
787 is one of my faves. Just wish it was a tad bit faster. Brilliant car otherwise.

R10 isnt worth it imo. Too slow compared to all the others, and definitely a bit scary coming out of corners. It's only good quality is it's fuel economy imo. Get the 908 instead.

How about those Lexus SC's i mean the Xanavi and Autech's counterpart? Btw, Thank you for sharing your list of good and bad cars. This thread actually helped me in choosing my daily driven cars. Kudos
 
Didn't really like the lexus' they were all boringly easy to drive to me.
That should make em good cars, I think I'm just biased against them.

Try the petronas toms..it's the fastest
 
Just read somewhere that the 1 mil trading limit starts March 3rd, so you have some time still to send the expensive cars as you like 👍 Don't know about the time of activation, can't remember where I read it.

One day I will finish that rally test - only need to test the last car, the Celica GT-Four ST205 premium car, but am working on another project on GT5 atm and I am very busy in my real life too, so it will be a while before it gets finished.

If someone would like to donate a yellow FTO to me before the trading limit starts I would appreciate it, it's one of the only cars I am looking for now and I refuse to spend 2 months looking for it :)
 
Bomb, I got you covered on Tues if somebody doesn't send you one by then. I got 2 cars going to Garbuckle, then one trade on Monday and I'm free after that.

On a side note, I woke up at 330am this morning and was about to start an enduro but I couldn't figure out what car that I wanted to drive. So now I decided to test and tune all my GTR's. I could of been half way done with one by now but driving all my new cars is a lot more enjoyable then driving a Miata for 4 hours straight. I'll get it over with eventually.

Omg still got 4days. 1 car per day so to be able to get it back in my main account without losing Cr, that's only gonna be 2 cars in 4 days. I still got 11mil so I guess I'll be getting the F10 and a good RC

As of tonight i'm going to be the proud owner of all FTOs :sly: FTO Super Touring Car


From now until the 3/3 i have only the 1/3 free for trading with you,due to this stupid 1 trade per ps3 per day.If you are also free then we can arrange a trade that day and we'll see what i''ll get .Only make a wise choice of colour,you only have one chance at this :lol:


Storm this is not verified but i have a strong impression that between master and secondary accounts there is and will not be a 1 million limit.So perhaps you should verify this and if it's correct you should use these last days until the 3nd to trade with other people cars you don't have...

Just realized I still have over a dozen $3million+ cars to acquire (anything under 2million, I can grind for myself). Somehow I don't think I'll be able to work out trades for them before the 3rd :D lol

Which are you sending to me, Abrstrak0ne? Is it the Bentley and Audi R10?

Would be cool, mate. And tell me about the endurance races... My next one is either: 1000km of Suzuka, 9hrs of Tsukuba or 24hrs of Le Mans. I'm so looking forward spending a week on the Le Mans one 👎

EDIT: Storm, did you notice that the CLK-GTR has changed name to CLK-LM Race car? Just a little fix in one of the last updates, as its name was incorrect. And how is your PS3 btw? Haven't seen you complaining about it ;)

I've done a total of one A-spec endurance race. Well, 2 if you count the 2 hour long Formula GT championship :D lol

I will not be doing any A-spec endurance over 4 hours, though. I just can't invest the time.

that master/secondary account limit...need to verify that before i setup trades with someone else. I have yet to transfer alot of cars ive gotten through trading. Will have to choose just 3 of my most wanted. :grumpy:

If this no limit for master/sec is true itll be a blessing. where'd you hear about this?

ya, there are 2 CLK-GTRs now.
They are both labeled LM in the "show car" page.
labeled differently in the garage view. (CLK-GTR and LM in the garage view)

Its still messing up. I have to load GT as the first game of the day to make it work and then i just leave it running for as long as i can.

If a friend comes over = change games, it wont load after.
had to reload the CD about 20 times yesterday before it finally worked :grumpy:
 
Storm, I realized that your SLR Mclaren has only 870~ HP while mine is at 940, your Ford GT at 815 and mine is at 860~ or something like that,

You also dont have the SL65 AMG as far as I can see.

70 HP on the SLR should take off a bunch of time though

the SL65 is standard but has rediculous #s

996 hp 1050 lbft torque

it hits 250 without draft, same with the slr and ford gt

kinda why i was checkin it out :P comparing the three;

You planning to cut a lot of corners with a lowered race car, or something? :D lol

It's funny, because I found out that the Chapparel 2D will bounce off the big curb on Cote d'Azur :D lol

Not planning on cutting corners :) i was thinking curb heights would be helpful when tuning up the suspension since theyve made them even slipperier since the last few updates + it'd be a good stat to know.
 
I see that the Autobac Garaiya 08' will be tested soon. Thinking about buying this tonight or tomorrow. Wondering if you know if it's insanely better then the 03' or the Apex-MR-5?
 
the apex is the superautobacs MR-S, right? I cant remember.

The '08 garaiya has about 100more Hp than the '03 (362hp) and the MR-S (380hp)
It should beat both. superb grip and 472 horses.
 
Hello,

I don't see the results for: Honda NSX Prototype LM Race Car

I skimmed the 40 plus pages and saw a post that stated it had higher BHP, but a little less handling. Did I just miss the results on the 1st page? Can anyone tell me the PP that this car has?
