I noticed a bug this morning in test drive mode. I selected Tsukuba track for a test run and it loaded Monza
I backed out and double checked to make sure I selected Tsukuba which I had.
I tried again and the game froze up

Uploading replays shared by other players is problematic. I was trying to review some Steward Inquiries for SNAIL Racing. Only 2 of 6 replay files could be used, and another 2 of 6 caused a system lockup requiring a manual reset, Sony automated data collection and system verification.

Crap-tastic.

Ascari GLITCH - If you go off course by the sharp right hander, the game will put you back where you left the track, which is fine, problem is... when you cross the start-finish line, you'll become the last car of the pack, regardless what position you were in the race before the "incident" took place :(

Haven't been a part of this thread but has anyone gone into the pits online and the tire selection and fuel quantity box not come up?

Drove in last night on 2013 Le Mans spec with r18, doing 35 mph into the pit lane. It was lap 5 out of seven on fuel and tire degradation set to fast. Not barreling in at 170 but slowing from 60 to 35, and never got the option. Someone behind me came in as well with a speed 8 and colorful words went flying, and he got the same situation as well. Our tires were both fine to finish the race, but our fuel was under a quarter, so we wouldn't finish.. Eventually had to back out as reserves were only left.

Anyone else?

I had this happen to me at Daytona the other night. Slowed down and was in between the lines as well, I could move the cursor and hear the tones of it switching. I had to guess where the tires were to switch compounds. Luckily I got it so I didn't get a penalty but it definitely was annoying.

Ferrari 430 (not Scuderia) , you cant customise the car. Put a carbon hood (not colored) will not show it.
Go to buy aftermarket aeros ,and nothing shows. There is even a wing removal (?? what?? ) that you can buy .
Whatever you do nothing changed to the car
If that's the F430 from GT5P then you can't do anything to it at all. It was the same in GT5, the F430 could not get any visual upgrades, could not change wheels either. No idea why the car is like that still, wonder if it's a bug or intentional. It's been that way since GT5, I know since I bought it to tune and couldn't change it at all so I played with the Scuderia instead.

If it was intentional, the ability to upgrade would not be there at all.

In GT5 you can upgrade all the engine parts to increase PP, but you couldn't change anything exterior on the car at all. So I thought it was some sort of bug. Still in this game as well so not sure if it's intentional because some cars that had changeable wheels from GT5 can't do so in GT6. The Cien can't change wheels anymore, so it looks like they went through turning things on and off on a per vehicle basis. I just found it weird that one car in the Ferrari section couldn't change anything exterior at all.

I really want to change back to Hi-RPM Turbo on my Honda HSV-010. But it wont show up in car settings. I cant buy it either because I already bought it. Anyone know a way around this?

Daaaaaaaamn... Forgot all about the penalties for not pitting in. This will be a real pain if rain comes in, or there are still more laps to it...

I haven't even tried that.
And each replay I'd saved so far was okay.
Just started happening yesterday - the replays I saved in the makeshift online shuffle yesterday, I had 4 saved. Only 1 of the 4 would play, the other 3 froze up the ps3 on attempting. And I tried multiple times. 3 times with one over 2 days, and the other 2 I tried twice.
I've had no problem before this watching replays of both career mode single player races AND online races.

Pit Stop at Ascari, your car will get stuck on release, having to reverse and go forward to get out of the pits, costing precious time :(

I've seen talks of the AI being rubberbanded, and I agree that it is, but I never saw the AI actually glitching it's speed.

I took a DeltaWing on to SSRX in the Like The Wind race to see how it faired (pretty good, hits 300mph in the draft), where during the race I was pushing and brake checking different AI drivers to set up a nice draft train. First thing I noticed while pushing one of the Veyron's was that he seemed to be topping out at 254mph; odd I thought, the stock transmission usually gets about 265mph before bouncing off the redline.

So I checked the replay with all info on display. The Veyron was topping out at 264mph while I was pushing it, but I was only doing 252mph. I checked the car behind, a Citroen GT concept which was catching fast, but he was doing 261mph - slightly faster than me but slower than the Veyron, but somehow passing us both. I pulled to the side to go ahead of the Veyron, and in the replay, was pulling away nicely while we were both doing 252mph.

Saved the replay of this, while scratching my head trying to work out PD's logic.

Edit: Talking about the Deltawing, you can get a taste of the old wheelie trick with it. With the typical wheelie settings, above 180mph, the nose will start bouncing, throwing out a firework show made of sparks, and the speed rises and drops constantly. Will try to see if I can get it to work better without it spinning.

Is it just me or is the whole 60FPS all the time complete and utter BS?
The scenery does not look smooth anywhere in front/hood view. It looks like 30fps or less. Going down the Bathurst straight is just sad.
Is it just my special eyes?
GOW red edition PS3 with <40hrs of total use(30hrs GT6) running at 720p.

Yesterday i was trying to capture pictures with backfire of my BMW Z4 GT3, and then it shows up where you can adjust everything but then when i wanted to save the picture, the backfire is just gone, thats really annoying :/

Happened a lot with GT5 where sometimes the photomode would glitch so bad that it zoomed in on a car by immense measures, even though the sight picture was nothing like it..

Do you have a wheel on? Just unplug the wheel. Or use the L/R 1 on your wheel.

Hi. I have a wheel, but it is very impractical to use the flaps on the wheel to change the camera angle. I did not know unplugging wheel would allow the R1/L1 buttons on the controller to work. Let me try it, thanks!

Happy holidays also.

On the longest Matterhorn track, if you get a really slow car, Citroen 2CV, Subaru 360, etc. ) and enter the track in an online lobby, the car CAN NOT get out of the pits. The hill is so steep that slow cars can't get out of it. They should make it so slower cars are given a little boost if they can't get out of the pits.

When I start a race I can sometimes get an electric engine sound for a few seconds and then it will switch over to the right one. I think that it only happens when I drive a car with an upgraded exhaust/intake, but I'm not sure.

This is the only glitch that affects me in a regular basis. Braking the car almost to a stop, hitting someone or honking will fix it.

Okay, here's my glitch story:

I bought an El Camino, changed the oil and gave it a wash, put on a set of +1 American Racing Torq Thrusts, and bought a few performance upgrades (ECU, intake, sport muffler, sport cat, soft racing suspension and twin-plate clutch/flywheel).

When I'm done adding those parts I go to my garage to take a look at it...and see that it has sprouted a set of C2-Corvette-like side exhaust pipes. Blech. Figuring they're the result of the upgraded mufflers, I uninstall the sport mufflers in the settings menu for the car in the garage. Back to the Garage top menu...it still has side pipes. I try removing the other exhaust and intake parts. No change. Remove all upgrade parts except the wheels. No :censored:ing change.

My questions are a) where did they come from and b) how do I get rid of them (assuming there's a way to do so)?

The garage model probably hasn't updated itself, did you drive it to check?

Not sure if this has been posted before but I tried the Super License Test S-1 for the first time today and when it loaded this happened. It just tried to keep loading when I pressed 'start'. Choosing 'driving options' would give a black screen then it would just go back to the race screen. Choosing track options would do nothing at all. I eventually exited it fine, clicked on the test again and the whole PS3 just froze on me.

EDIT: Sorry its sideways, I cba to edit the video lol.
