For Evos, for some reason the values for LSD Initial Rear and AYC are linked, and changing one changes the other. It is currently not possible to have different values for them. It might seem like you can at first, but if you exit the settings menu and go back in, the values will change to be the same. This probably happens with all Evos, but I've only tested the IV and VI TM SCP.

The raining events in AI don't permit 'Heavy rain" tyres but still permit you to select them.

the problem is it will swap you off the tyres as soon as you race, took me for ever to figure this out till i owned some other tyres on the car than sports hard.

That's probably not an error.
Are you using FC LSD and stock (AYC) center diff?

Yes. I think there's supposed to be something related between them, but I don't think it was implemented properly. There's no reason for those two values to be the same in any case. The LSD value is an arbitrary number, and the AYC setting is a percent. In some of the previous games you can only choose LSD or AYC, but not both. Here you can have both, but it's messed up. So there's definitely some sort of error here.

You can't use big Turbo in Honda HSV-010 GT 15th Anniversary Edition. You buy it and then only appear medium Turbo and if you buy medium Turbo you can use small Turbo and both increase the same amount of power. You lose 200HP aprox.

You can select them right before the race.
Fully wet tires seem to perform worse than intermediates.

Just had an awesome race online where I finished 2nd so I decide to save the replay to watch later....

I go to watch it's not what happened in the real race... Says I finished second but in the replay I apparently spin multiple times and finish dead last?! What's up with the replays rendering a race incorrectly?

I tested that today. I used both Intermediate and fully Wet tires, but it seemed impossible to drive with those. I actually ended up using the stock sport tires in my SRT Viper and ended up winning. It's just like in GT5 were wet tires are useless. Dry tires perform better in rain, which shouldn't be the case.

why PD don't added an option to take shots of the inside of cars :confused::confused:
This is something I've never understood PD like to show off the detail in their premium cars so why they won't let us take interior shots I will never understand.

No more glitch to take shots of the interiors in photomode?

Not really a glitch, just get nice and close to the car and experiment with the focal settings. :)

Not the best pics to judge by, but I've snooped around a few cars and if you get the camera nice and low you can even see parts of the exhaust systems, driveline etc...:mischievous:

I don't think any car is un-driveable. A lot of people complained about the Stratos but I beat the Goodwood challenge first try using a DS3. I think it's just how you're driving, has nothing to do with the car.
If all those people are complaining about a car being "undrivable" in GT6, I can't imagine how much they would complain if they drove ANY car in iRacing. It's called reallism and has nothing to do with game being "broken", all it takes is skill and practice...

I've made these but the glitch works only with the 300 SL Coupe '54

One glitch that I've used many times in online lobbies when there are, let's say 'jerks' in the room when a race requires a pit stop. I just pit on the last lap so that I cross the finish line in the pits and it counts as a pit stop. Oh it's so great listening to the 'jerks' who can't seem to grasp the concept that people aren't AI

But it should be fixed by PD. Just simply require the pit to be done before the last lap and if you cross the S/F line on the last lap without a pit, that is when it triggers the 100 second penalty or whatever.

For the past few days my game freezes at the "Warning" screen. When I quit the game it forces a reboot with the error checking screen. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Not sure if this was said, I scanned the pages and didn't see it.

Under options, if you go to brightness and image quality, if you happen to choose "flicker reduction", the game freezes when you enter the cart arena indoors with all the neon lights.
I changed it back to "Normal" and the track loaded without so much as a glitch.

I found a problem when adjusting the toe in/out on the Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline-as soon as you hit start, whatever toe-in setting you put gets automatically adjusted to -0.56 and whatever toe-out setting you put gets automatically adjusted to 0.56 (a value of 0 will have no effect) :(

Not really relevant to racing or anything so kinda eh, but i dont know about singleplayer but when in an multiplier lobby and you stop and press the handbrake, the car would start rotating little by little.

Haven't seen a lot of bugs. :/
Here are the ones that I remember.

1) Honda HSV-010 GT 15th Anniversary Edition '11 turbo tuning has a bug, where you can't select the biggest turbo after you switch to default or smaller one. I don't have the base models, so I don't know if other HSVs have it.

2) In arcade mode. If you select a car from favorites, it still shows you your main car name in the tuning menu.

Went to show a friend how to drive the karts in arcade mode. Before the race even started, the game locked up, frozen solid. Had to do a reboot of the PS3 and it went to data recovery mode. Thankfully, I got to keep my cars and credits.

Cheers

So I bought a Gallardo and then went to the tuning shop and bought the Fully Customizable Suspension, among other parts. I went back to the garage, and found the "ride height" setting, which was in inches. I proceded to lower my Lambo by 30 inches (not really). I'm guessing it was supposed to be in millimeters. Don't know if this occurs for all cars, but I don't want to buy a bunch of suspensions for all of them.

the glitches and bugs sounds scary. i'm starting to glad i cant buy the game until a few months later when (hopefully) the glitches and bugs are fixed.

Ascari S5 License Test is WHACKED!!!

WHAT!!!! Last night I was toiling over just trying to Bronze S5. Tonight, I return to this nemesis of a race track only to find it was the middle of the day (last night) to DUSK tonight!!!!

I HATE THIS TRACK!!!!!

So, I just exited back to the Home screen and entered the test again, and it's the middle of the day again!!!

I actually randomly got this just now in the Mito seasonal, I did 3 laps in a row around 1.02.something and it gave it to me, seems like you have to do 3 laps close to each other but also under the gold time maybe?
someone explained it after my post, you need to make a fastest lap first, then do two or three laps each within 0.2s slower than the fastest lap.
Pretty easy to achieve with personal practice mode (test drive?), better in a small track like Tsukuba and a controllable car (S2000?), if you still struggle, install N2O package and it's very easy to keep within 0.2s slower with a ghost car around.
