For the three laps in a row trophy, you can always just take a Jr. Kart to Motegi Oval and ride the bottom. It's a mathematic certainty that you will travel the same distance at the same speed to get the same lap time if you can control the kart's inputs smoothly enough.




Bug report: Honda Accord Euro-R '02 headlights have weird red splotches in them in Photo Travel and Garage. They're not in the real life car.




^ It's orange, and it's small in real life.

It's big, it's red, and it's oblique in GT6, and even "dents" into the hood. :yuck:
 
My daily log in bonus has been decreasing for 2 days straight now despite being logged in and having immediate access to the game's online features. Before going into the game there is all of the standard "ooooooh look at all this crap you can buy from the PSN store" in the XMB. The console is definitely logged in and accessing the internet before I start the game.

I haven't had time to actually race the last couple days. I've just started up the game to keep the log in bonus up. I poke around the menus a little and then move on to a movie or app.
 
Daily log-in bonus is definitely bugged. I went from lvl 3 one day to lvl 1 the next. Second time that's happened, the first I thought I might've missed a day but the second I knew for sure I hadn't.
 
Same with me on login bonus. I was at 110, the next day login 130, booted up later that day and left it on overnight. The next morning it said I was now at 150. I saved the game and rebooted and it came back up at 110.
 
- The Premium Lancer Evo RS T.M.E (VI or V? I don't know. These little cars are not my thing), has black plastic side mirrors. But when viewed through the cockpit they show the same color as the car.

- Veyron's power gauge doesn't work.

- M5's windshield display is glitched. Shows an erratic speed.

- Corvette C2 is modeled as the 4 speed manual car, yet it has the 3 speed manual gearbox when playing. The HP is also doesn't match the description. The car is the 327 Vette with 250HP, yet the description they talk about the 300HP 327 Vette.

- Not really a glitch or bug, but windshield wipers are now useless. The wipers themselves obstruct your vision more than water, no matter how hard it rains.

- When doing the 24minutes of Nurburgring, it will rain for most of the race, the water level will go to 100%, then it'll stop raining, go back to 0% and when it starts raining again, water won't accumulate anymore.

- This is by far the Gran Turismo with the highest number of cars with incorrect sound samples yet! :banghead: I've purchased almost 20 cars and sold them because of this. No fix changing the exhausts at all. Waiting for PD to patch them so I can enjoy these cars.
 
happened to a bunch of us in a lobby just now. after clicking the flag to get on the track, host changed the number laps. the game froze.....we had no input but still heard other cars on track.
 
Last night on X track. About 14 of us were ready to race, counted down from 40 seconds then usually you get the 3.2.1. Well that 3 2 1 never came. We just sat there and sat there. still could rev all day long but couldnt go anywhere.

Another thing was trying to watch a replay with the mercedes amg vision car. Everytime it would freeze. Just that car
 
A buddy of mine is having his Slim PS3 freeze when Brands Hatch tries to load in career and arcade. He's even exchanged the disc.

Make sure to hit "Save" via the Start button menu in order to save your daily login bonus. 👍 That may be your problem.

I do. After loosing all of my GT5 data shortly after completing A and B Spec the first time, I'm anal about saving these games no matter if I actually play it or not.
 
Played GT6 for the first time earlier (Christmas present) at my Dad's place, had a pretty appalling gamebreaking bug where about 5 times within an hour the game completely froze at the end of the race, just after I crossed the line, and at first I could only unfreeze it by switching the PS3 off then on again, whereupon it did it's rebuilding the framework checks or whatnot...scary (I then realised I could eject the disc and it would reboot more easily).

It then occurred to me that as my Dad doesn't have wireless I probably needed to download some updates, and have since done so, and all now seems to be OK. Oh yeah and oddly it only seemed to happen when I came second in the race :)

However have just found another bug, in the 5 minute races under Novice class, at Tsukuba I crossed the line at 4:59 and had to run another lap, but the other cars were 5:00+ and then just coasted around the next lap slowly, as if the race had finished. Perhaps not a bug as such but seems a little stupid, the 5m rule surely ought only apply to the player?
 
not sure if anybody has asked this yet, couldn't find it in search.

i have been over 7,950 miles and have still not received the trophy for beyond the autobahn.

anybody know whats going on?

I spoke with my buddy and be clarified something. The game is freezing at Brands Hatch at a particular turn! On the Indy Circuit at the turn right near out road entry. He just got the game and is working on Amateur Cup in N Class. He has a Slim that is not subjected to heavy use. He did use a lens cleaner.

He's considering returning the 2nd GT6 disc to Best Buy for a refund and buying the 15th at GameStop while it's on sale for $40.

Very weird that it's freezing at a particular turn.
 
Just got second in the FF Challenge race at Motegi, at the end it said I was 3rd, on the reward screen after the leaderboard (which was correct) but still gave me two stars.

(Second only you say? Still thrashing my stock Honda Fit, definitely do-able but keep making silly errors)
 
Whenever you leave an online lobby, sometimes another player will have the same name as the person that left. The picture is of someone who left and came back immediately. (@Gotbeefboy564 )

Sometimes if a player disconnects from a lobby, there's a "phantom" car drifting around the track.

If you get car(s) from the stockyard to the garage and choose sorting by 'date acquired' they are like they were just acquired. Yet when you enter the stats, you can see the proper date.
 
Not sure if this is a glitch or not, but with the RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7, I was looking at PP differences between the Mid RPM Turbo and the High RPM Turbo. Even though you gain 31hp going from mid to high, you actually lose 2 PP by changing it. Is that normal?

This is the glitches and errors thread, but I can't see any sort of glitch or error...
 
When exiting the Ascari pits online from the last garage, the auto pilot can't get enough lock on the wheel and crashes into an invisible wall. It stops and needs to reverse back down the pitlane, and when you come out you will have a lot of damage (if you run with it on).

Other than that, no glitches or bugs whatsoever. Not even freezing.
