Hey everyone
I've just added the new trophies for the up coming GOODWOOD races.
I've done them as golf theme, don't ask me why golf theme. :scared:

Birdy - beat the gold time by 1 second or more

Eagle - beat the gold time by 2 seconds or more

Driver - win a goodwood event

19th hole - qualify and enter in the 6th goodwood event (to qualify for the 6th event you must enter in all 5 normal goodwood events)

The GOODWOOD events will be raced the same way the licence tests where, 3 rounds(holes) per event(course) there will be 6 courses. 5 courses we will be using the normal goodwood events with a bonus event at the end for those who qualify.

There will be time penalties for the winners

The goodwood events will start next round.

I really can't drive (those) racing tyres, the last 110 laps I improved (blue lap) twice which was much less than 1/10 s together.

I did 361 lap with kart here when I did 25.005 no tune..but that was 1 time thing

At least you had the one third of the time then  but The Saint took it to another level spending over 3 and a half hours only on this one continuously !!!!
Thats something you can't pass without a good comment .
As for you we are all aware that you're crazy enough  to take part in every madness comes to your mind.

I found this interesting...didn't know that he did that with a throttle.. guy explaining and explanation was little dull.. but whatever.. Would someone benefit driving turbo charged car like this?
Noel? :) :P

The same way hit the throttle @RMan72 !!!! Its quite noticeable at his vids especially those which is without SRF on.
Also @bjl23 use it some times while am an On-Of guy chasing the late braking rather than earlier .

Be cool and drink ..... while you still have

I texted 12 girls to be precise in last 3 days and non of them wants to come to my place because of the virus. This virus is going to kill me for sure, this is very bad. Fortunately I still have some cash flow unlike many in here. But I predict celibacy for some time now for me.. Im nervous over that 24/7 for past 2 days :banghead::banghead:

I do the on / off the throttle mid corner because I use buttons on the ds3, I find it helps with mid corner speed.

The Sacred Valley awaits us...

Ah, Grand Valley. A classic track, and one of my favorites. The east variant adds an interesting uphill section to an otherwise mostly flat track, which makes it more fun to drive than the full course. And on a fast GT race car, it's even more fun.

Turns 1 and 2: We start off flat out, hitting upwards of 250 km/h at the end of the main straight. Turn 1 is flat-out, just a kink to the left. Brake just after the 100m board down to second gear for the hairpin of Turn 2. Make sure to keep the car straight while braking so it doesn't fishtail, which is prone to happen with most RWD cars on this particular corner. Get on the power as early as you can, and shift up to third gear for the exit.

Turns 3 and 4: A short, flat-out kink to the left is Turn 3, then tap the brakes at the top of the hill down to fourth gear for Turn 4. Be careful not to get on the power too early here. It's easy to get too eager with the throttle and end up overshooting the corner, and sending yourself into the wall.

Turns 5, 6 and 7: Another small tap on the brakes, but we stay in fourth gear for Turn 5. Stay off the throttle and let the car glide, then go down to third gear for Turn 6. Try to treat this section as a double-apex corner. Once you exit Turn 6, brake down to second for Turn 7, the slowest corner on the track, and hug the inside kerb on entrance. Get on the power early to have as much straight-line speed as possible when entering the tunnel.

Turns 8 and 9: Probably the toughest section of the track, as I lost most of my laps here. You want to enter it in fourth gear, tapping the brakes, then let the car glide and downshift to to 3rd just before the apex. Then get back on the power and shift to fourth gear again for the left kink of Turn 9.

Turns 10 and 11: Turn 10 can screw two laps over if you get it wrong. Keep left as you exit Turn 9, then brake down to third gear for Turn 10. You want to be on high revs on 3rd for Turn 10, but if you get on the power too early you'll end up in the gravel, or fishtailing on the exit kerb, which will lose you speed on the main straight. Turn 11 is a flat-out right-hander, so sweep in from the outside as you exit Turn 10 and keep the gas planted down as you dash towards the finish line.

After about 20 laps, my best time was a 1:02.189. Fairly satisfactory, if I do say so myself. Sub-1:02 is definitely possible, though.

Good read mate but with Turns 3 and 4 try a very little lift of the throttle than a tap on the brake at the top of the hill. My issue is with only Turns 5, 6 and 7 I can not get that section right with exterior view cam, I know I am a lot faster with roof cam but I can not use it any more because it effects my eyes.

I did that too when I used pad.. will try it when I play next time.. Do you guys know if there is Race Version of this GTR we are drifting with in GT6 or GT5? Id like to use id for some races.. I know it was in GT2.. Also if someone has good racing setup for that car (road one) please post.. Im useless with tuning..

I don't think there is a race vision on gt6, not sure about gt5.

Thanks for that tip mate  and it may improve my time bit, but turn 5,6 and 7 I just have to get that right with the new view cam that I am using.

penultimate and last turn are most important. I think if I get both correct Id do 59,5 or something like that because exit speed really makes huge difference on this corners. well exit speed on last one and the one before is more about taking aggressive line and steer timing. I don't think it's for 3rd but 4th gear corner. maybe on exterior view you can hit apex better. I might drive it again but not sure if I'll have time.

That Turns 3 and 4 I cant not go through that section at full throttle because I keep crashing now, but when I roll off the throttle just a touch and I have no problem, my only problem is Turns 5, 6 and 7 that where I lose a chunk of time. I just have to practice with exterior view and also watch my replays until I get that section right.

It occurred to me that the close gearing that I will do out of habit if I drift a not stock car is for adjusting wheelspin. When I'm in the middle of the corner, if the wheels spin too much I shift up and if too little, down. Though there's not always a suitable gear to use. If I had a (working) clutch that might be much better.
