The credits cost of all 523 cars in Gran Turismo 7 [563 Million total]

This is how much I've accumulated: Total credits obtained cr. 478, 071,726

I choose not to save. I've tried since buying the game. I'm buying cars and parts and customizing. Maybe I watch too many racing series and have to replicate them to watch my replays. Spending all that time grinding and coming out with one car, just seems wrong. It's not wrong, but cars that expensive are just not a priority. Yet, I did spend time buying 20mil cars in GT Sport. Guess I'm over doing grinding for one of those. Silly.

The total for the original launch day 424 cars was 429M.

The 22 update cars cost 25.6M.

That brings the total to 454.6M which means the other 27.4M increase is purely down to Hagerty inflation. Lovely stuff.

^ the funny thing is I have every single car in the game but still feel the need to grind lol... I play LeMans because of the money earned when winning the race so I play it every time I play GT7 which is once a day probably once or twice a week... theres still like 10 races or more that I still have to complete and all the new DLC cafe books I still never played.. and I didnt even complete one mission yet.. I think I might have done just the first 2 license tests and they werent even all gold... just did them all so I can compete in the cafe races...I have no motivation to do anything in the game because of the lack of money earned so I resort to the typical 3-4 grind races

Sorry but this doesn’t make any sense. Why are you grinding now? Why did you even grind before to get those cars if you (presumably) aren’t even using them?
 
I am still flabbergasted why polyphony do this to punish their consumers? In GT 6 it was to force players to pay 50$ for a single car but in GT 7 that don´t exist it´s just to punish players?

I did the afk script to get all the cars.... I wanted to get every car in the game because I never did that in any GT game before... I planned on driving the expensive cars but there's no race to use them unless you do arcade or custom race... I continue to grind to save money for tunes or new dlc cars...I probably do lemans once a day for a few days a week so I don't consider it grinding
 
Preordered this game, been playing casually since owning it, so couple times a week. I’m at 41% of cars owned, I think I’ve made about $60,000,000 credits, spent a million on tunes and customizations Wow what a long road ahead considering that 41% of cars is the cheaper ones. Most expensive car I have is the 917K.
 
hmm do every car you buy get on sale or am I just unlucky? I noticed in the used car menu there was a menu on the top right saying new cars on sale. And it was 90 % cars I just bought?

What do you mean ? new cars on sale only means that the game replaced the "sold out" ones with new slots. There's probably tiny differences in prices.
 
Has anyone calculated the cost of upgrading all cars with tuned parts and aero kits?
Some cars have limited parts to buy, some have all of them. And let's assume all parts cost roughly 400k.
Let's assume 50% cars have all parts available, in this case it's 223 x 400k = 89 million only for this 50% or cars. And you still have all the race cars that only for additional tires you can easily spend around 100k. 😅

Somewhere @Grimm6Jack has a spreadsheet with that info.
 
Cost of all upgrade parts is 213.405.860 credits.

This however is not including every single part of GT Auto. Only one of each of the main aerodynamic pieces (Front, Side, Back, Wing, Wing Custom and Remove Wing, alongside the Roll Hoop, Roll Bar and Roll Cages).

However, the parts from the tuning shop are all included.

It makes sense when you consider that the cost of 1 $20 million Legend car is worth about 20 VGT's.
 
I play lemans 700 once a day weekdays and twice a day weekend, so 9 times a week, = 7.5m credits a week
It's brutal really, will take a year I think assuming prices stay static. I own around half the cars.
I bought that awful Corvette racer last week (the one you can use on Historic in GT7), was a few million and released it isn't even good enough for Le Mans!
Sone of the 20m cars are not even usable.
They need to add more historic races so the LGD cars can be used. Sarthe no chicane would be nice for the old beasts like the DB3.

Well that was quite a ride. Hit the credit limit yesterday and decided to buy all the remaining 50 cars.
Still feels like I need to grind though.

It will be close on the R32 and A70 Supra coming this week, but definitely by Monday before the other Gr.A cars go. The R32's "zero-mileage" price would be 200,000 Cr. based on its engine costing 100,000 Cr., and the 179,100 Cr. it was its last appearance is the highest it's been in the UCD.

Been months since I bought those R32s. Probably felt like I was spending over 200k. ;) I think the new body for one of my cars was over 200K. I’d have to check.

New bodies are 1.2 times the "zero-mileage"/Hagerty's price, so the R32 body is 240,000 Cr.

Hurggh. Of course the 500 Mondial has to go down 800k after I buy it, and the F50 up 750k while I'm waiting for it. :( On the other hand, I was able to sell my duplicate R18 TDI prize car for ~1500k yesterday :D.

For the cars that have new engines or new bodies available, in the Extreme tab of the tuning shop, with engines costing 1/2 of the "zero-mileage"/Hagerty's price, and new bodies costing 1.2 times the "zero-mileage"/Hagerty's price. For the 3 cars that don't have new engines or bodies available, but are the source for engine swaps, the "Recommended Retail Price" of their engine swaps (under "Tuning Parts" in the garage) is 1/2 the cost of the car.

For the rest, I have sources.
 
Don't get me started on Hagerty, he's full of microsoft. The S Barker coming and going in 2 days is just namco stupid. Then there's the McLaren, yeah, slip that in over a holiday weekend then tank it. Nintendo dumb.
I'ma have to run a couple or three more grinds to get it ... all in one evening. I just drove in from Texas. 360 miles, so imagine doing 360 miles of Route 11 in a Raptor. 635 North's TExpress lanes reminded me a LOT of the Tokyo tracks. It's all one big tunnel, gentle curves, and you gotta run at least 90 in there.
I've been driving a lot today, I'm tired, and they say you are what you eat, so this turkey's goin' to bed.
