If you aren't already doing this, make sure you aren't launching from max RPM. Mash the throttle just as the race starts instead. And as mentioned above, slightly short-shifting also helps.

This ended up being it. Thanks so much, I blasted through the rest of the drag races.

That Huayra is going to be a battle to get... probably more than the Thunderwave.

For The Rising Sun strikes again, most vehicle requirements were affordable while Squadra Italia has pricer requirements such as the FXX K and Ferrari Enzo. On the other hand, a special Huayra is arguably more desirable than a special RX-8. Given the current circumstances in the world, it will be one of the most competitive weeks for sure.

Knocked out a bit of the Explorer Hobbies tonight. Still a way from the HX, though. The Road Runner isn't too far either, it's just the mileage ones that take a while. The RX-7, probably won't be getting it anytime soon...

As for the Summit, hoping my position can hold for a bit longer (1900). Things slow down once Monday hits, so I should be fine.

Yes this week is tuff when I checked tonight all my buddys were knocked out of plat but i am just hanging in there at around 1000 after watching all the cheats in this weeks summit its no surprise.

Yeah for real.
The Lancia RX event is a joke, if you're not exploiting the respawning after the first jump you'll essentially miss out on 15k points. Which for a summit as competitive as this really counts.

In celebration of the 2 Year milestone, the Ford Focus Blue Storm is coming to the Far and Beyond Shop!

I finished this Summit with a close shave at 2830. When I logged on a half hour ago, I panicked when I saw that I was 3099. The only low Skill I had was the Speed Trap, and I grinded the crap out of it for like 20 minutes with another guy in my Crew. I managed to get a better speed than before, but I tried my best to help him. The traffic was just too dense most of the time. I felt bad and sorry for him :(

Other than that, this Summit really wasn't as bad as the Thunderwave one.

Yeah. That was probably the worst Speed Trap they could use. I was getting frustrated with the constant traffic and jacka** players blocking the trigger spot.

I can't believe I got 100k yards on the nightmare of that Summit Escape. I had to roll up a new Muddy Nitro set because I thought it wasn't any good anymore...
