The only PC issue I have run into is the CC Packs not working after paying. I submitted a case and it should be solved by the end of the week hopefully. I wanted it to work before the Summit ended yesterday because I really wanted to get the Sand Vanity bundle.

Atm you cant take photos. Attempt to do that and you'll be met with "Synchronizing Failure" message despite being connected to the internet and literally all other online features works just fine.

Meaning that you cant finish the Photo OP atm.

So, i actually just started to play this again yesterday, after having stopped right about when they first introduced the summit events. So far I'm just doing some of the new races i never had done, i had everything just about done before, now, not so much lol

Any tips or advice for a retuning player who feels like a noob? What are spare parts for? I feel like i had a couple more questions while i was playing yesterday.... I'll ask em if i remember lol

Incidentally, "Jesse Mach" was at the London Comic Con 2 or 3 years ago, got him to sign my Streethawk annual

I'm impressed that they are still coming up with new and interesting ideas for content and Summits, 2 years after release 👍

However, I'm not gaming at the moment as its 35C down here in the south east of UK
My PS4 fan would never be able to cope

Now that I have the Hobby cars, I can now focus more on the Summits

The loaned car race was doing my head in and something hasn't been right since the last patch with my wheel lots of nervous cars that seemed like
a heavy load of beer was in the boot making me saw at the wheel to keep it straight again. After every patch It always seems to change and need some kind of adjustments. This time I thought sod it I will see if I can make it feel right using 900deg of rotation not 300ish like normal I thought I would try the presets and precise ended up working pretty well but the ffb did feel weaker but that ended up making it even easier to drive I don't remember that preset working so well ?

There's an option in the psn menu to change button config.

Maybe this way you can change shifting and stuff in crew2? Not at home so cannot test this.

But remap strategically and sparingly, because it affects the menus and also the OS of the console -- everything. You can add the toggle into the PS quick menu, though.

Status update...

Finally aced Drag Race to go with already aced Street and Hypercar events (found the drag race events extreeeeeeeemely tedious so could only grind these sparingly, this week's Stingray drag event in the Summit finally got me over the line )

In the off road section, am working through Motocross which i am close to getting high enough stats to get the aced level (middle level is completed). The recent Motocross exclusive Summit was useful for grinding upgrade parts here.

Had to leave gaming for couple of weeks as it was 35C here in the UK .
Back to normal now 19C and grey

Is it just me or is the Summit level low this week. Currently on PS4, its only 350k for Silver and 600k ish for Gold?

The Plat reward is the Jet Green Nitro. Not a lot of people care for the vanity stuff.

As for my Ace run, I got the Aerobatics events done and I am not looking forward to the Jetsprint and Demo Derby. Monster Truck shouldn't be an issue with the Boosted set I got.

Also the new summit features new race and track. Unfortunately it's not as eye candy as the Neon Racer and the parked cars there is still the stock modern cars which ruins the immersion.

Looking forward for the 80s event though. May will feature a new neon race / track.

I love the lighting effect on the race. I also like how they're starting to integrate more "life" into the races with the tanker on fire.

So, saved up the 1.125m credits for the 70s collection.

Disappointed to not find a good Bullitt green livery on the car, but a nice addition 👍

As all the cars were new to me, I should add that I love the Ferrari. Looks and sounds nice to me

Next week, exciting as it is, is going to be very expensive for me. 900k+ for the Ferrari F40 LM TC, 450k for the Porsche 959 RR, I can afford the 20k for the Cadillac Eldorado Brougham though

And that's before the cost for the 3 new cars

I try to save up enough credits for the Summit vehicles each week if I can, as it's a good way to accumulate them, bit by bit, although I'm still at only 74 out of 374 cars after 100+ hours play - as much as I enjoy the game , the grind is excessive to me

But I may have to prioritise my 80sgasm a bit!

There's a drift only event coming up I think, and I've got nowhere with drifting, plus I've never been a fan, so that may be a free Summit week for me to catch up

Drift Summits are those "Hold your breath and hope it sticks" scenarios for me. I have the max set for them, but even still. You need to keep everything in one combo.
